Watching that video made me realize that we haven’t had this many recruits in the AA bowl since—ever?

Maybe Callahan’s 2005 class? I remember Lucky being in it and that running back/athlete from Washington (Jackson?) who ended up at Hawaii. Is that it?

Think Phillip Dillard and Craig Roark were as well.

Raridon and Farniok were in it. I think that may be it on our current roster (maybe Breon Dixon). This year we have: Robinson, Robinson, Benhart. Plus Heinrich was selected, but is injured and Pola-Gates is playing and could be a Husker too. Exciting times.

Forgot about Mullen, what an odd flip that was. Just not even close to making a play on that ball. I hope for his sake he wasn't trying to actually cover that route.

Noa and his cousin are both Huskers - just saw an interview where he said his cousin is visiting Nebraska after the Polynesian Bowl and that he’s going to come with him (ie. he wouldn’t join him if he’s committed to another school).

Also, sounds like mom’s job will be allow her to transfer to their office in Lincoln.

Hell yea baby!!!

I saw that as well... the devil’s advocate in me says he commits elsewhere but, like Robinson, he may not be 100%, so another trip to Nebraska with his cousin may make a difference.

And one correction to what you are reporting is that he said he was probably coming with his cousin, which allows for some wiggle room if he does announce elsewhere.

But I’m excited nonetheless.

From the clips I've watched of Benhart, he needs to get a whole lot nastier at the next level.
They're in shorts and helmets, what do you want him to do, start a fight? Seems a little rusty, but there's also not really anyone in front of him in any of that drill footage.

His interview talks about how he's in the middle of wrestling season and he's a lot lighter than he would normally be. He looks thin for sure, a lot more muscle to gain than I would have guessed.

I was watching full pads. He won't be ready to play next year, that's for sure. He was getting overpowered by guys much smaller than him. Probably a big jump in competition that he is used to playing against. Still like his frame and after a few years in the program he should be a lot bigger and a lot nastier.

The good news is Ty Robinson looks good. He won all his reps and was running right through guys.
