Who was the Iowa fan on here the other day questioning whether NU would get any top 25 predictions?
It was the guy who will not post drunk... He will discount Athlon the same way he discounted Brett McMurphy and the same way he will discount (insert media name here)...
19th is great! I hope we're ranked when the year starts out, because we should absolutely knock out wins until we host Ohio State at home. That game will be hard, but they'll be without Urban Meyer at the helm and playing us at home, which bodes well.

Given who we have coming back, and who we have coming in, and our much easier schedule, with a little luck and improved defensive play, I could see us running the table in the regular season next year. And no... I am not drunk.

You must not know about how “loaded” the Hawkeyes will be in 2019.

The more I look at the schedule, the more I could see it happening. There is not a team on that schedule that I don't think we can beat. Of course a lot of things have to go right for it to happen, so I hate actually predicting it, but it's not as far out of the realm of possibility as some might think.
I work in Pittsburg about 2 miles from the high school. I live across the line in Missouri. I haven't heard any news on him. Until the other offers came out, I figured he would stay home & attend Pittsburg State. Pretty sure, the Gorillas are no longer on the table with him. If I hear anything, I will post quickly. I may try to sneak away on signing day & check out his decision. Of course, unless he decides to pull the trigger & commit before then.
Exactly. Do I think we WILL run the table? Probably not. Our recent history should give us all a healthy dose of anti-koolaid drinking realism. However, I agree with you. In terms of raw talent there is only one team on the schedule who is quite a bit beyond us - - Ohio State. But we played them tough in Columbus last year and they will have a new head coach. So who knows? As for the rest of our schedule there is only one other team that we will need "luck" to beat and that is Wisconsin. But it too is in Lincoln and we are due for some breaks to go our way.

That was not what you got bashed for. You got bashed for saying our recruiting class was a little disappointing and for the nonsensical idea that we could win the West Division but couldn't even compete for the conference championship despite the fact that it only takes winning one more game to win the conference championship if you are winning your Division.

There are several on here who are nothing but negative about Nebraska, you wonder why they’re even Husker fans but Pennsy isn’t one of them. They could easily find a different person to jump on for being such..

Bomber as been on here a long time and is a Husker fan - I am excited for next year but honestly the last few have been so bad I would be happy with a bowl season at this point - I think we need to see a vastly improved defense before we have a chance at even winning the west. I do think our offense alone gets us to a bowl game
If there were no expectations we could have just hired someone like Ferentz. Or kept Riley.
