Laverne & Shirley was a sitcom in the late 70s/early 80's. Laverne DeFazio was a character played by actress/director/producer Penny Marshall who died Monday at the age of 75.

When I was young, I once tried to make a pepsi float, but it didnt taste too good, nor work like root beer does. Still not sure why not... but, pepsi.... and milk... I cant fathom trying to make that palatable.

That show was freaking badass. Lenny and Squiggy would always bust through the door at the perfect time...I have no idea why I remember one of their lines so clearly, but they bust through the door and ask "Can we borrow some sheets, ours are hard"..I remember my entire family busting a gut at that line.
