I wish I could share your sentiment but I have seen this too many times for comfort. The preached theme is you need to win your home games, beat the teams you are supposed to beat and pick off a few teams that are better than you. That's what gets you into the dance.

Well we've lost 2 we should have won. Gotta lot of ground to make up

Now look into your crystal ball and predict the Creighton game Saturday.
I ve watched Creighton a couple of times this year because I like to watch teams we will play. They are not world beaters.

61-78 blue team

We should have won last night. They let that one get away. The Tech game was one of those games. It did not get away as much as they were just not the better team that night! PERIOD!

I don’t agree with two we should have won, last night no question we should have not folded in the last 8 minutes, but against T-Tech we weren’t in the game after 5 or 6 of the first minutes and they thumped us the whole game.

We'll see. I m not buying the fact that ttech is that good. We didn't play or shoot well in that game

From the good news front, Missouri State finally won game last night, sending their RPI soaring to 227.

I got a stern finger-wagging for suggesting the Bears weren't very good the night they lost to NU. They proceeded to drop their next 4 in a row by an average of nearly 20 points.

It’s like Miles has troubles figuring out how to play to our talents. We definitely have a very good top 4 on our team. When you have a Palmer, Copeland, Roby and Watson, you shouldn’t have that much trouble. Roby has be struggling offensive wise but he’s still a baller. Miles has to figure out how to use this talent better. Yes, there is times a team just doesn’t show up and play well and in that case, there is nothing any coach can do. Not even Phil Jackson can pull that off.

This loss is a confidence killer for the team. I wanted it to work with Miles but I think if he loses to Krayton and doesn't make the dance...he gone.

Obviously that is how we all feel I don’t think there will be one Miles supporter other than his family that would want hon back for next season when this is his best team and potentially the best in Nebraska basketball history..

Agree completely - Last night was frustrating because it was a game NU controlled for 30 minutes. You should win games where you have double digit leads with 10 minutes to go.

This was probably one of the most winnable road games left on the schedule. It’s not like NU has punched their ticket to the dance already. They need to pile up wins when they are there for the taking.

So last night was not fatal, but NU lost ground in their effort to reach the NCAA tournament. They’ve got to make it up somewhere.

Nee had a team with multiple multi-year NBA players on it. This team is NOT that. Maybe Palmer and Roby make rosters. I'm not buying that Copeland or Glynn do and really I don't see Palmer being consistent enough to either. Roby is just such a freak athlete that I think he'll translate to the NBA somewhere.

Well here’s one thing, we had as big as 15 point lead on Minnesota and then some how they got back into it. Us not scoring and going on dry spouts does not help at all. But Minnesota had 32 free throws to our 19. Was it that we were fouling that much more or that badly or was the refs helping Minnesota get back into the game and help the Huskers go cold?? I hate blaming refs and I’m not trying to here but when you see a 32 to 19 difference it really makes one wonder. I wish the refs would back the “F” off and let teams play. Sounded like Copes technical foul was BS, which help turn the tide for Minnesota. Purely making a point. Again our Huskers can’t disappear like they do when it comes to scoring baskets, period. But refs calling a 32-19 foul difference is a bit ridiculous. Thats going to help ANY team come back from a 15 point lead.

FWIW - NU had a huge advantage at the FT line against Illinois and the game thread was full of complaints about the refs.

There were a couple of calls that might have gone NU’s way had the game been in Lincoln. The technical on Copeland, the missed goal-tending, and the offensive foul on Palmer when NU had a 13 point lead and the ball were big. But the main problem was NU missing shot after shot in the last 10 minutes.

I see a lot of love for Copeland here, but I see a guy who gets overseas contracts, but not more than a summer invite/workout with NBA teams.

Watson's a really good college player, but at a tough size for the NBA and his skill set. He'd also make good money overseas and enjoy seeing the world

Creighton will beat Nebraska by 15. They have been playing pretty good against some good teams.

And what did you say??? They will beat Huskers bye 15??? Huskers lead bye 16 plus with under 10 minutes left. The Bluejays WILL NOT win this season. Mark it down.
