Former president George H Bush passed away at 94. A honorable man WWII veteran. Please don't turn this into a political pissing match!!! I'm just showing simple respect for a veteran and former president
Kind of amazing the appreciation the mainstream media is showing for the Bushes these days considering how they pounded them while they were in office and for years afterwards. Absence makes the heart grow fonder???

Always considered him the best president of my lifetime. He consistently put the long-term interests of the country ahead of his own political interests, and that’s a rare attribute these days.

Well, they did cozy up to the Clintons and Obama's, so that got them into a better light.;)

RIP. Doesn't matter that I disagreed with him politically, he did the best he could for all Americans.

Could have quite a bit to do with what we are dealing with now. We are the laughing stock of the world. Almost every President is looked upon fondly after they have left office and the stain on our history that is currently in DC only magnifies what used to be.

You were probably a huge fan of the rapist/sexual predator Bill Clinton, right?

It’s ok as long as it’s their people doing it. Several months back they were actually making excuses for pedofiles and even had a long string of sick jokes about it going on in Hollywood. Degenerates I tell ya..

Is this the part where Trump supporters joke about California falling into the ocean, give a nod to David Duke, and make derogatory jabs at immigrants (of which we are all in one way or another) while flying the flag, the cross and a pair of rubber balls under the hitch of their pick-up trucks?

I think people see decency in the Bush clan now, and it's refreshing, considering our current President is a scumbag.

Not referring to any of Trump's policies, many of which I agree with. I actually think Trump is making some good, tough decisions.

But he's a scumbag. The Bush's were and are a pretty descent bunch. I think people miss that in politicians nowadays. A little class.

Bush Sr. was in on a lot of serious crap when he was in the CIA (think Central America for one), didn't say a word when his son Neil was doing garbage in the Savings and Loan scandals, so if you think the Bush's were so great, that's your problem.

And don't get anyone started on the wars that both Sr. and Jr. got this country into, unnecessary and unwarranted. Not saying Sr. or Jr. were total scumbags, but they both have heavy baggage when it comes to chicanery.

Sounds mild in comparison to junkies, needles and human waste lining the streets.

Lol. Have you ever been to California? Have you ever been to San Francisco? Have you ever been to Yosemite, the great Sequoia forests, or driven the PCH?

My guess is you spend a lot of time in the basement of your $75k house in the sticks knitting sweaters and spewing hatred at everything that doesn't fall in line with your agenda, which is, to stereotype, that of some pure white inbred Midwestern trash.

Pot calling kettle black. You are no better when you spew the kind of bigotry and hatred you just did.

Ahhh, the racism card.. Classic liberal garbage arguements...

I also fail to see what sequoias and highways have to do with policies and people. California is obviously a very beautiful state but land features have absolutely nothing to do with politics.

Yea, I just don't pretend being racist, by definition, is right. And I call you out on it.

There is a segment of the right social agenda that is messed-up in a big way right now.

I'm all for low taxes and tough on borders and free, unbiased trade with intellectual property rights protected. That is all good. Just don't feed me your social agenda that denies global warming, hates on anything deemed socially "immoral" which hearkens back to some sort of 50s Americana utopia. Give me a break.

Very possibly the best foreign policy mind we've ever had in the Whitehouse. I read something a few months ago about how he handled the fall of communism in Eastern Europe and the old Soviet Union. He was very careful to maintain a close relationship with Gorbachev knowing it was vital to prevent bloodshed. He worked diplomatically behind the scenes to keep the Soviets from interfering as the Warsaw Pact fell, and from what I read was the true hero during the fall of communism (more than Gorbachev or Reagan). I've also got to wonder how Dukakis or another potential president might have handled Saddam's invasion of Kuwait. Bernie Sanders (hero of the modern idiot generation) among others argued against using force, which would have led to a nightmarish scenario where Iraq conquers Saudi Arabia and oil prices skyrocket, setting off both a worldwide depression and creating a dangerous and powerful Iraqi state.

Lol Bernie Sanders hero of the modern idiot generation. Good one!

Tough to be affiliated with either political party when the alternative to Trump is a progressive liberal agenda championed by this guy.

It takes a racist to call another person one, and there is an equal amount on the left that is just as messed up as on the right, you included.

Global warming? I just love the hypocrisy of people like you that carp about global warming but still drive your car, get out on your boat, use airplanes to travel, etc. Do something about it or shut the fuhk up, bright boy. And there is plenty of evidence that counters man made activity as the main driver in global warming/climate change, something, by the way, that has been happening for millions and millions of years.

Could you even class progressives as liberals? The liberals to me are more moderate than the progressives. The progressives seem more like a band of marxist radicals (similar to right wing neo nazis) who are hell bent on socialism and buying votes with the promise of a utopia full of free stuff. They don’t share the same view even though they share the same side of the spectrum.

Sorry to burst your bubble about global warming, I've had several conversations with two separate people from seed companies, and they are higher ups in the seed industry definantly no grunts, they both told me that if there was anything to global warming they would be the first to notice it because of there research on seed corn, soybeans and others. But as of now they are staying far away from the discussion simply because of they don't want bad publicity coming from the environmentalists storm troopers. Those people do a lot of damage for the purpose of advancing there cause!!!! That it for what it worth, I'm sure you won't believe it, but just wait one of your states congressman is going to introduce large tax increases on energy in the name of global warming. all to enrich al gore Barack oboma the Clintons and ther cronies
