He could walk on, if he chooses. He should have the money!
A great athlete... but 26 years old.
He’ll go to Youngstown.
You think a 26 year old is over the hill and doesn’t have the body to take hits from some kid who played high school ball a couple of years prior?
Let it go.
I can guarandamnedtee you that Frost would take him in a heartbeat. He is a great physical talent who could play multiple positions on either side of the ball. Big and fast with a great arm. From Bubba's standpoint though IF he were to try college QB, he would go somewhere that he knew he could start for a year or two before going to the NFL. Heck he could go straight to the NFL and IF I were an NFL GM I would explore signing him to stick on the practice squad.Let it go.
Maybe not the worst Top 5 baseball pick of all time, but it would be in the conversation.
He couldn't stay healthy playing baseball...how would he stay on the football field?
That's an intriguing thought. Close to home, opportunity to play right away.I wouldn't be shocked to see him as the QB at KU next year.
He was indeed. Had a fairly short season due to injuries, but I think he hit just shy of .300.wasn't he with the Storm-chasers (in the outfield) for part of last season?
Baseball is a lot harder on the body than most people think.
*2011If you are a big baseball fan, revisit the 2014 MLB draft and tell me the Royals didn’t make screw-up with drafting Bubba. Usually the first round of an MLB draft is hit or miss (no pun intended) but seems like the 2014 first round draft was ridiculous. Bubba and one other dude are basically the only busts
Sorry was thinking how much a Sonny Gray or José Fernández would have helped the KC 2014 team. Likely beat SF*2011
