Beaten both teams on the road nonetheless....playing for the Big10 championship this year.. 2019 cant get here fast enough..

Side note i probably wont even watch this game this year.. seems to be boring matchup for me anyways

Yes it was sarcasm. There have been numerous threads over the years wherein people have discussed pet peeves. The use of the term “ could of” rather than “ could have” is a frequent one.

Poor attempt at humor on my part I suppose. Im going back to the PH/ whiskey thread.

‘Of’ in place of ‘have’ is a pet peeve of mine as well.

That’s why I made sure, in my response pointing out his sarcasm, I intentionally said must ‘of’ and would ‘of’.

It was a joke on my part. Guess my attempt could ‘have’ been better as well.

What is this obsession with Central Florida and Iowa? Do they have five national championships? And could have should have? Point was we almost beat Ohio State and Northwestern and could have (of) beat Ohio State and should have (of) beat Northwestern (like expletive deleted expletive deleted emphasizing we had them expletive deleted on the expletive deleted one expletive deleted yard line). We should have expletive depleted beat the West expletive deleted champion. Should could would of or expletive deleted whatever.

Some administrator should blacklist you or ban you or whatever Nebraska fans think should be done with you. Iowa for sure. But did you live in central Florida? Technically you may be okay if it was Northern Florida or Southern Florida or some direction other than purely Central Florida. And I suppose there is always Northern Iowa or Iowa State if you plead your case. And at least you were not UNO or UNK which has some redeeming value. God, I wish we made a bowl game so this forum did not come to this.

you guys have been should having and could ofing been beating teams for a couple of decades now. now that i put it in your vernacular do you understand how terrible NU really is? but hey, at least you have hired a savior coach that has brought the team up from that horrendous 50+ year low record of 4-8 to, oh that's right, (laughing my *** off!)............4-8!!!
