Same here and I have a feeling that guy will be out of work for about 17 seconds.I really wanted Kliff to work out at Texas Tech. He seemed like the perfect fit for them. I can see him joining some team as OC and helping them upgrade to a modern, explosive offense.
I can’t see it happening but he’d be scary as the OC for Michigan, Michigan St, Georgia, or even Iowa. Instead I can see him taking some lower level HC.

Kingsbury needs to stay as far away from the Big Ten as posssible. He'd be a potent OC somewhere, maybe even in the NFL.
USC eyeing John Harbaugh apparently
There's always Troy Calhoun at the Air Force Academy. Will Georgia Tech go after Ken Niumatololotoualoulululu?
Running out of established triple option guys.
Paul Johnson retiring at Georgia Tech. Will they stick with the triple option?
Pete Carroll had Norm Chow at OC and Clay Helton had . . . Tee Martin. Now I know why the Trojans struggled.Read that Kingsbury was visiting with Clay Helton in LA this week??? They let go of Tee Martin
If I am Georgia Tech I would go in a different direction. Georgia is such a talent rich football state I think you could go to a spread type or more traditional offensive scheme and have pretty quick success.

Yeah, there's really no reason why they need to stick to the triple option. From what I recall, the main reason they hired him in the first place was not because of the type of offense he ran, it was because he was already a well-known name in the state from his time at Georgia Southern(where he won 2 I-AA national championships). He just brought the offense with him. Of course, the downside to hiring someone who is going to run a vastly different offense is that it increases the transition time.If I am Georgia Tech I would go in a different direction. This, by alot. Great coach.Jeff Monken at Army is the best option coach right now IMO.

It might be hard for them to get a good coach who runs a different offense now - much like it was for us after firing Solich. It takes a long time to transition from the triple option to a more modern offense.
