Washington beat Utah by 14 game 3,
the Clemson line looks like a big number, but Miami just beat them up by about the same so maybe not?
I do think Ohio States speed & talent advantage should cover, if they want in at least they likely need to cover that number, IMO.

I think UT wins it a 2nd time on a neutral site, as much as I hate Texas, they have a solid defense which was what kept OU's offense in check all game. offense scores points, but defense wins championships. OU may score alot of points but in watching them this year, they just don't seem to have killer that mentality they had under Stoops. JMO This is another rivalry game in the same year.

Maybe by Big 12 standards the whorns have a solid defense, but there not going to keep up scoring with OU this time.. + I’ll take the team that lost the first time in this one, but I would still go with Washington over Utah the second time in a row..

I kind of like NW to keep it close. I’d pry stay away from it as OSU could pull away late, but I think it will be relatively close for three quarters.

They’ve played with everyone this season. Duke beat them 21-7 but the other losses were a 1 possession game if I remember right. ND and Michigan they played pretty tight games with. They’ve made the teams that beat them work for it but they also lost to Akron so who knows..

NW usually don’t beat themselves if they don’t have any unfortunate turnovers they can stay in this game, just depends how sharp Haskins is. If he plays like he did yesterday NW won’t be able to keep up scoring with them..

Haskins can be rattled with pressure, but you have to apply the pressure. Penn State got a good blitz going on him and kept him off-balance most of the game. Can Northwestern get enough pressure on him? We'll see. One of OSU's starting guards is out for the game, so that might help a little. If we give him as much time as Michigan did, it'll probably be a long evening for the Cats (as it would for just about every B1G team given OSU's talent at receiver). To win, Northwestern basically has to avoid turnovers, get a bit of a running game going to control the clock, shut down the OSU running game to a degree and limit big plays. It's possible, but a tall order against a team with a wealth of four- and five-star talent.

The line will move up as OSU people will bet on their team.

I dont think Northwestern has the horses to beat them, but they will have a better gameplan than the man coverage crap Michigan was running.

Will anybody else enjoy seeing Texas get screwed by the refs against Oklahoma? You know the Big 12 wants a team in the playoffs so they will make it happen.

Northwestern 2018 is the textbook definition of a team that plays to the level of the competition. The major difference in this game will be the experience advantage Ohio St has in playing in this type of game. I could see a pro NW crowd in Indy based on the amount of people that hate Ohio St. But OSU covers

Oklahoma will beat Texas by 14

Alabama, Clemson and Washington will cover.

I think Memphis wins outright, so I would play the money line as well.

Michigan thought it had the athletes to run with OSU, and game planned that way. It turns out they didn’t and got burned. NU has no such illusion. Not that they don’t have individual players with speed, but they don’t compare in overall team speed. Fitzgerald won’t gameplan to match speed, but to overcome it.The outcome will be based on whether they can execute that gameplan or not, and to whether OSU can overcome it.

If tOSU speed can be overcome, then the result should be highly influenced by turnovers and penalties. If we play a flawless game and tOSU turns the ball over and pitches a fit via personal fouls, we have a fair chance to win.

.02 and, Go Cats !!

yeah, I'd put money on OSU to cover at that line. Unless they **** the bed yet again this season.
Yeah, that's one team I stay away from betting for/against. They have the talent to beat ANYONE but can also lose to anyone. Very hot and cold team but when they come to play, WOW !

If I had to bet, I think the Bucks caught lightning in a bottle in a rivalry game played at home. I am still shocked it came against this Michigan team, but I don't think they have shown enough over the season to do it again this week. I know Urban is not above pouring it on to make a point for the playoff committee, but I don't think they are consistent enough to expect that kind of performance again.

Northwestern is a bit of a magical team this year and I think they'll compete well but ultimately come up just short (but not too short that I wouldn't take the points.)

If OU beats texass convincingly they should get in before Bucknuts by avenging their earlier loss to the whorns, that has to account for something..

Hoping NW can keep it close entering the 4th Q..
