Could happen Friday starting as soon as 12:00 pm on some weather models, but, not all models. It's delayed til 3pm on the historically more accurate model.

Winds will be 10-20 SSE... chance of rain 60%.

Won’t be steady rain at least for now, mostly a light rain.

Wind will be more of a worry for both teams..

Yes, our season can be blamed on Global Warming!

Lol, I don’t think anyone is blaming the season on global warming. This season is what it is, we were going to struggle early on no matter how the weather was or wasn’t. I’m just glad our team has started to truly turn the corner.

Win or lose against Iowa, our team has a real chance to break out next season. This Iowa game could go multiple ways. I hope for a win or close lose. Just no more BS blow out wins (which we should be good there).

At some point our luck has to turn with this stupid weather
Unfortunately we are in the BIG10 the odds of crappy weather for 2 or 3 games is pretty high most years. If Frost offense can't operate when there is bad weather he might need to adjust.

Were the odds of crap weather any better in the Big-8/12? Ames, Boulder, Lincoln, Manhatten, etc.

The spread offense and it’s success is not limited to favorable weather enviroments. It an offense that is successful all over in the college football world. North, south, east and west.

Weather takes it’s toll on everyone. Running the football does not take away wet balls and slick surfaces.

Updated forecast rainfall up near a quarter of a inch.
Steady rain later in the day...90% chance.
Wind still 12- 20 out of the SSE..

The game may get over by the time the heavier rain comes in later in the afternoon..

What makes you think it can’t opperate with bad weather? I think the OP was referencing the cancelled game as much as anything.

As of today it’s showing 42-46 degrees, 5-15 mph winds and light to occasional/steady rain in Iowa for our Husker game. We should be fine. Last weeks game with 26-36 mph winds, with snow and freezing isn’t quite to same beast. Our offense can handle cold and do just fine. It’s completely different when you bring in freezing weather, snow and 35 plus mph winds. Our freshman Cali QB wasn’t quite used to that yet. This Iowa game will be fine. Nothing scary in the forecast, this time.

Wind is by far the biggest problem. The equipment managers can keep the footballs dry. Hope there's no lightening, though.

Looks like the rain will hold off till around halftime temps shouldn’t be a problem being in the mid 40’s.
Only problem could be some wind but not as terrible as last Saturday..
