And for the person that said it's like Mike Riley to Nebraska. Are you kidding? Miles has had much more success, and on a bigger stage than Riley ever did before coaching Nebraska.

Even Ed Orgeron is winning at LSU. There's so much talent down there in New Orleans/Houston, it's hard not to. We'll see if he can get that talent to come up to Kansas to play for the worst program in the country. We'll also see if he can hire a great defensive coordinator, like he always did at LSU.

Remember also that he inherited a gold mine from Saban at LSU. He didn't have to build from nothing like he will have to at KU.

FWIW, Bo gets his last blood-sucking check from Nebraska at the end of this coming February. After that point we won't be paying any Ex Head Coaches any more! Riley (as well as Eichorst) has been paid off previously with a lump sum. It's like no more alimony to worry about.
That would be good news. Didn't know about the lump sum

KC Star has video of him and family getting off plane this morning at Topeka airport. LSU completed his $1.5M buyout on Thursday.

Will be interesting what staff he puts together there. Also will be interesting what KSU does with Snyder and son.
If he made a Snyder type deal he has a relatively good opportunity. If I were him I'd dump any power 5 games up front and get 3 wins on the schedule. From there he would need just 3 conference wins to go bowling

You're forgetting that Les Miles beat top 5 Oklahoma teams while at Oklahoma State. Dude is the original Matt Campbell

You sir...GET IT!!!

Miles will be pulling talent out of the boot and taking instate from K State. Already recruits raving about the hire that now are considering KU today. Kid are taking notice of him and Pooka Magic!

Yep, great move. KSU will take a major hit. KU is near good recruiting territory and won't have to go far for talent. He may be able to make a living playing his type of ball in a League of wide open O, no D teams. Much like NU is trying to be the opposite of what the B10 is perceived as.
