Junior for Fresno St. Has seven catches so far this year going into the Boise St game tonight. Looks like he will end up with 4 catches for 57 yards in this game.

Did any of you watch the game? I think this game really illustrates how bad college officials have become. Fresno State completed a long pass leading up to their first TD. The problem is the Fresno receiver was clearly out-of-bounds before he came back in and caught the pass. His whole body was easily two feet outside of the sideline and he stayed out for several feet. There was one official on that sideline upfield from him and one official downfield. They had clear views of the receiver being out-of-bounds. The Boise coach tried to get a TO, but Fresno snapped the ball before a review could be done. Several bad calls throughout the game. I thought they missed an obvious targeting call on a Boise defender hitting a receiver after he didn't catch the ball on Fresno's last offensive play. Finally with about 16 seconds to go the officials decided to review where they spotted the ball after a third down run by Boise. They confirmed the spot. Then they decided to bring out the chains to make sure it wasn't a first down. It looked to me and the TV announcers that it was about a link short but they gave the first down to Boise thus ending the game. This crew seemed to take a long time and were very indecisive on whether they should review plays. Sometimes I wonder if the officials are calling the game how it is played or how they think it is being played.

They need to have a no food or drink policy in the replay booth. I know conferences do it differently. Some have them at a central location and some at the stadium.
But too many times they never get reviewed until the commentators say it's questionable.
All plays are reviewed/reviewable. Too many times I think the replay official has his hands full of chicken wings and can't push the button

Fresno State looks like a very well coached football team. I'm surprised they lost, because they looked way better than Boise during the stretch I was watching.

Someone in the Mountain West Conference better explain why Boise was given a first down on that measurement that was clearly short.

Former Husker, left after his freshman year I think. I had to google it because I thought it was pretty random too.
Grim set the California state record for receiving yards (1,928) in a single-season and several other records as well. He was a high 3-star on Rivals (due to size) who committed to Keith Williams in the 2016 class. He decommitted from Boise St. Williams called him Cherry because he showed up with red hair. He enrolled early and did Spring ball in 2016. In the fall he left the team when Williams was on suspension saying he wasn't comfortable at Nebraska. I thought he transferred to Washington St, but ended up at Fresno. I was thinking while watching the game last night how one of the most prolific receivers in California HS history really hasn't panned out, and how he might be doing under Frost's offense had he stayed at Nebraska.
