How does Rick Scott keep getting elected? He seems super wierd in his speeches. Miami looks like Venice and you’ll need boats soon. Isn’t there more push to vote blue?

Subtle global warming reference. Rising sea levels keep S Florida busy pumping out sea water. The environment is typically in the dem platform but FL seems to be solidly Rep, although always close. As these election results come in there’s always some head scratchers in parts of the country.

Not too many Midwestern people go to Florida. I heard most of them are from the northeast. Midwestern people go to Texas and Arizona

That's a good question; Scott is not a good candidate, but Florida is definitely much more on the red side of purple than the blue side.
And its a state-wide election, so its not as if the stiff gerrymandering and sorting problems that affect the House races are at play, here. I dunno. It's a great question.

The red tide and green algae mix this year causing the massive kill of manatee, dolphin, fish, turtles ... Seems to be fueling some sort of a blue uprising down there but not quite enough.. The fact that Trump refuses to acknowledge any environmental issues down there should have made more of a blue wave but it didn't seem to be enough... I fish a lot down there on the Gulf side and have seen in the last 3 years a major issue with this toxic algae... It's not BS like many would like to believe.

Bobby Francis O'Rourke. Just pathetic that he changed his name to feign Hispanic heritage to try and garner votes. He's as Irish as they come. Although it does show if Dems bleed enough money in Texas it can and will be purple unfortunately. The blueing of the Southwest due to open borders spells the end of the Presidency for Republicans. Nevada Colorado and New Mexico are gone, and Arizona and Texas which were once GOP strongholds are turning purple. GOP will likely never win another national election after 2020.
Florida has enough degenerates and bath salt people. They don't need a mentally disabled politician to represent them.
Maybe because democrats no longer run candidates that might appeal to regular people? I just hope the democrats keep it up. The best thing that has happened to us all are the democrats going on all in on the far left and their nutty policies.
