at least improved i think. one senior CB who seems to finally 'get it'. a junior who covers pretty well actually. two junior safeties who should be better than the three seniors we lose....

a year of experience under their belt with new coach/coaches....i see better days for them.

hopefully they won't have to cover as long next year, but thats another story...sigh

Lamar and Bootle have played very well recently. I'm Also very excited about Braxton Clark and Cam Taylor's potential. Domann at OLB basically makes him a nickelback which has worked well. Not to mention Eric Lee back for another season.

The future looks very bright!

We aren’t very deep at safety. If JoJo moves to OLB full time, who starts at the safety opposite D. Williams? Dismuke hasn’t shown much and the two freshman have both sustained injuries, that have probably slowed their development.

Cam needs to make a big jump. Personally, I think Wright and Newsome are solid recruits. Hopefully we are in on another big time JUCO safety.

With the guys coming back and another year in the system/development, we should be a lot better, IMO. GBR

yeah, i have jo jo penciled in there for now...best case would be Marquese Bell i'm thinking. would love to see Cam'Ron Jones(?) get it together & be the talented recruit they thought he was.

I think we will be improved but we need to upgrade our speed IMO. We can’t cover man to man this year and it got us beat vs NW

One thing that concerns me is Dismuke will take a spot away from a more deserving player, whether that be D Williams or someone else. I haven't seen anything from Dismuke that indicates he's going to be capable of being a starter.
