LSU's QB has only thrown 6 td passes. 3 against Ole Miss. LSU offense is terrible. Georgia beats them easily

Clemson DL will be able to handle it’s responsibilities. That’s a special group. It wouldn’t surprise me if Lawrence is the #10A pick in three years. He can fit it into tight windows if the offensive line can protect him. I think that’s probably an Alabama -3 game or so.

Btw, did you guys see that Mack Wilson INT at the end of the game? Holy crap. They have a MLB that can do that. That was some high end CB work there.

LSU is 88th in total offense so they aren't even a threat to score much on Alabama defense. Not many teams other than maybe Clemson have the defensive talent to slow them down as well as a top tier offense that could score enough. I think Michigans defense would have the best chance of stopping Bama but doubt they'd have the offensive firepower to outscore them. Bama would boat race the Irish and Sooners and anyone from the Pac12 so this may be the year Sabah goes undefeated.

Every year last 10 years my mantra is anyone other than Bama win it all. Hope that someone can upset them in the playoffs. Because if they lose before then they will get their yearly mulligan and still get in.

Just save some time and give Bama the title. They just crushed the 3rd ranked team at their place by 29. No one is beating this team. Well except for NFL teams not named the Browns. (That last part was a joke but you get the point)

Alabama's having almost an identical season statistically and in terms of dominance as our 95 team. They have the #1 offense and a very good defense. I've predicted losses in all the other years they were undefeated late, but I think this year is different. No one is beating them. The only team that has a chance is Clemson, but that's all they have. A small chance.

Alabama just shut out a top 5 team, beating them by 30. Clemson meanwhile blew out a very bad Louisville team. What Alabama did was much more impressive, and they've been more impressive all season. If Alabama and Clemson play, I don't even think it will be much of a game.

I think Nebraska could score on Bama. We’d still get our butt
Lines I just saw iirc.

7.5 vs clem
13.5 vs Georgia and oklahoma
14.5 vs mich and Ohio st
16.5 vs nd

I’d bet Clemson on a neutral field if I got 7.5. I’d also take Michigan and 14.5.

This is Alabama's best team ever, and one of the best of all time. I honestly don't think last year's team was better than Georgia (or even Oklahoma), but Georgia couldn't play coverage when it mattered. The only team that might make a game of it is Clemson, who is getting better every week under Laurence.

Saban has two big advantages. A conference that doesn't prioritize on academics and sitting in the middle of a recruiting bonanza in the Southeast. The Big Ten has made it harder to complete against the SEC with more stringent qualifying rules (this did hurt Nebraska in particular). Also the population boom in the SE and popularity of football in that region has made it the best recruiting grounds in the country. Nebraska 's best years coincided with a high level of instate recruits that aren't there anymore. Even Frost was part of that golden era of instate players.

Plus bama has a hire payroll than the Arizona cardinals. All joking aside I really wished the NCAA raised the minimum academic requirements and the big 10 lower theirs a little, so that all P5 schools have the same standards. And to the rest of the big 10 schools don't give me this crap about how prestigious you are, let's not forget penn st and is sexual abuse against young boy and Michigan st sex scandal and Ohio st knownly hires a wife beater then lies about it and is still making excuses. Fyl your no better than any other conference.

I think Clemson would give them a game.

Agree. It will be Clemson and bama in the national championship again. Clemson is hitting stride now blowing out everybody. I'd call bama-Clemson a toss up game now.

Michigan and Notre Dame can give them a better game then Georgia and Oklahoma. Need a great defense to compete with Alabama and Oklahoma and Georgia do not have it. Ohio State has flaws also.

I love Tua. But in half the game I saw, I'm not sure if he has a surefire NFL arm.
Agree, reminds me of that lefty qb from Boise state .. Kelly?. Great college qb but not enough mustard on his throws for the nfl.
