Vedral has not looked capable in the spring game or yesterday...no accuracy and he looks kind of lost which is surprising since he supposedly know this offense.....I think Bunch.

From what we saw yesterday, compared to what we saw out of bunch earlier in the year. Bunch is easily #2 at this point. Hope Vedral just had some nerves going on.

OL was no better than the second string line earlier this year. Bunch fits better as he is mobile enough and throws much better. Vedral
playing against much less talented defenses also.

I just did not agree with the coaches using only Vedral. Use him in the fourth quarter and Bunch in the third. Bunch has paid his dues as a walk on. He just might walk off.

Doesn't really matter that much at this point. AM is the man, and if we need to use Vedral or Bunch the results won't be very good. I don't think either one is the answer long-term.

Well, that's certainly true enough. But if AM gets hurt......then no choice.......Bunch looks way better so far.

I think it was by design that Vedral got a lot of snaps last Saturday, but not sure I would read much into it. Bunch is still your #2 in my opinion. I was taken to task by some about my views on Vedral after the spring game, and he has done nothing but confirm those views. I understand the family history, and I'm okay with the scholarship, but as of now, there isn't anything that should tell you he is a viable option at this point in his career.

Vedral's getting 4 games or less this year and enough snaps to get him used to game speed, but not enough to blow his redshirt year.

I am treating them as co #2's, but neither is at a point to be a real option right now.

I agree, but for me, I think you get the #2 all the reps you can when they are available. After the way we stunk it up with Bunch early, if he is the #2, get him the reps.

They games will likely be tight enough from here on out that getting the #2 QB playing time won’t be something we mess around with. The #2 job will be an open competition for spring and fall camp.

I agree, hopefully Bunch isn't injured.

Where would walk on Bunch walk off to? He has had plenty of reps. Maybe Frost wanted to get Vedral reps when he could rather than when he HAD to. The game was well in hand. Let Vedral play to shake off the rust.

Or maybe Frost just wanted a back up qb message board thread

You do not give your #3 QB reps when your #2 has had no reps for six games. This made no sense unless there is no true depth chart.

I agreed with the point that I would have started Bunch not that he would walk off. I highly doubt he would. I should have made that more clear. I never said he would walk off though in case you were confused.

The injury part was just a thought.

I'm not the coach, he can do what he feels. I just pass the time here.
