I’m proud of the Husker men today. They definitely deserve this. The biggest point is seeing them all fired up (regardless of how the season has gone). They/we have to start from some were and it’s starts now. The past 2-3 games the offense has been turning the corner and today they broke it lose. Defense is improving (although they are still up and down). This season won’t be anything special but this is the season our team starts to learn to win again and our Huskers turn that corner. GBR

Wow all of this after beating a bad Minnesota team?

Did someone piss in your beer tonight? We were a 4 point favorite and won by 25. We jumped out to a 28 point lead. After giving up 3 straight 3 down conversions we stuffed them 6 times in a row. Yes, we let them back in toward the end of the 2nd first part of the 3rd, but last year when that happened the team rolled over and got their butts handed to them. Today, when it looked like a repeat of last week the offense stepped up and exploded for another 25 points. And the defense, other than the late score held up when they needed to. This team needed a win regardless of who it was against. They needed to put together a full game and not beat themselves. They did that today. They played a complete game, and that’s something to build off of. We were never going to go out and just win a championship just because Frost set foot on the field. The program is going through a complete rebuild. And it has to start some where. They win next week, then go compete with OSU. Beat Illinois, and who knows. Maybe they complete the season with wins against MSU and Iowa. It’s not unreasonable to think if they’ve truly turned the corner. Let the team be happy. Let them celebrate a complete game and coach’s first victory as a Husker Head Coach. Better days than even today are yet to come.

If your a Husker fan you see the big picture. A win like this is good on so many levels. Getting the kids to believe and stay motivated, recruiting, etc.

The last 5 years have made me humble as a fan. I no longer hate on Bo for winning 9 games because winning any games takes in today’s college game takes lot of effort and preparation.

Enjoy this win my friend. We’ve waited 357 days for this. This is only the beginning.

Well said the losing stretch has been brutal and this is a step in the right direction. I will say if any other program questions our fan base they have not been paying attention. The fans deserved this win as well as the players

It's been a year since they've won a game, let them be excited and have fun.

Frost said there will come a time where winning is the norm and we don't celebrate much after one win. But we aren't there yet.

Thank you so much, we need to remind these SJW fans that we cannot accept anything less than championships from these 18-22 year olds. I have won at everything, and everything in life has gone perfect for me, and I tell my friends and family all the time, if you aren't 1st than nothing you do ever matters, and there is never a reason to celebrate unless you are the best. If all fans start thinking that way, maybe our team will be great again. Otherwise I see our fans causing us to be mediocre for distant future. It is a lot like Trump said about Mccain...you know winners don't get caught. Championships are greater than pain and suffering and small victories. Thanks again.

SMH... I bet you were a wonderful father.

Edit: pretty sure you were being sarcastic here, and I missed it. My apologies for my initial response.

I read it several times before posting, trying to figure it out. If so, I totally missed it.

Thanks for the heads up. You are probably right.

Don’t feel bad, I was kind of up and down with it too. Couldn’t tell if he actually meant it or was a sarcastic response to Oldjar07 for being mad that our Huskers won. I don’t care if Minnesota was a National Champ contender or a down team...our Huskers needed a win and we got it. This will help them in a huge way to gain confidence and gain some motivation and momentum going forward. If Oldjar07 is to blind to see that, then that’s on him. It would suck to have his life, I’ll say that much.

Seriously? I bet your crap doesn't stink, either. I've heard of perfect aholes, but never, actually, had any contact with one until now

This is either your best or worst post to date. Honestly not sure which, yet.

I’m pretty sure he was being sarcastic. I totally missed it, hence my response initially. But once another poster pointed out the sarcasm, I reread it and saw it in a sarcastic way as well. Solana beach Husker is very supportive of the staff, and I just don’t see him being anything less than sarcastic here after having give it some thought.

I would like to believe you are correct. I wish he would have said that, though. It would help make his post easier to accept.
