I have said before that this Nebraska team was talented. That being said you are a long way from winning any championship... You know what...its a start! Congrats on your first win and enjoy it!
Has anybody said we are close to winning a championship? If Nebraska can find a defense they will certainly contend for the west next year as long as Martinez stays healthy.

I was hoping this 10 game losing streak would clear out all the Nebbies who watch the huskers for personal ego gratification. Hopefully our fanbase can just enjoy how freakin hard the players practice and play to get a win...and hopefully the young players that go through this can pass on that winning takes full dedication. This team has to be fully dedicated to win 3-5 more games. Our future teams will need to be fully dedicated win championships. Hopefully our fans can just enjoy the ride without taking so much shiite and mindless drivel. That is my dream.

Frost is now even with Ferentz’ first season wins. Ferentz has the advantage of taking the reins over from their “legendary” coach. Frost took over for from one of the worst putz’ to ever wear a coaching hat.
If you can't win the little trophies you won't win the big trophies... better start small and work way up sport!

You mean big trophies like the Pinstripe Bowl? Hell, that 'bowl' game probably buys their trophy off of ebay. At least Iowa didn't have to spend a lot of money on a big expensive trophy case. You can probably fit all of Iowa's important one's in a shadow box that you hang on the wall.
I do like the touch of making your very own National Championship flag, though. That is cute.

I was thinking the same thing, I will LMAO if Nebraska is favored or no more then a3point dog. Looking forward to it. Usually teams would rather catch Iowa teams early, but this may be the one year I’m glad Nebraska plays them at the end.
Iowa football, never has a program been easier to like (tough, hard nosed football) accompanied by a fan base that is so easy to hate. They are all the same so I just use “Iowa fan” while discussing them.

Just take your beating (again), and move on. You have scheduled Bethune-little sisters of the poor for a game so you can feel good about "where the program is going". Accept your perennial place in the BIG10 and learn to deal with it. This is not the Big 2-Little 6 conference. You have to prepare for more than one game a year now. A concept you obviously haven't mastered since you came to MY conference.
