Back in the game. First offensive holding call in 21 games from earlier tells it all... it's a f-ing conspiracy.
How does the Big Ten benefit by Nebraska losing football games?
Did they really have a choice, it was a tackle right at the feet of the QB.To be fair the refs took 7 off the board for them on their first possession
21 games... dont be stupid.
Since you’re talking to me like I’m stupid, go ahead and explain how Nebraska losing football games benefits the B1G.
How is it detrimental? We are still the outsider.
Then why not call NU for int on that 4th down play? Great opportunity to screw NU
To be fair, NW is #2 least penalized team in the NCAA and Minn. is #5. They don't commit many penalties.

Got to keep it copacetic. If you want to side with the refs... fine. Maybe you should become a KU basketball fan and a Alabama football fan.

Good pointIt was clearly a hold - but given one hadn’t been called in 2 years - yes they did have a choice
he tacked our defensive lineman. Seriously
Just so I’m keeping up, the Big Ten acquires one of the most valuable sports franchises in America - the Nebraska football team - and proceeds to deliberately wreck it? Do I have that right?
The penalty issues have nothing to do with coaching, discipline, style of play, game flow etc?
To be fair the refs took 7 off the board for them on their first possession
Don’t get me wrong - off course it was a hold - but that hasn’t kept the refs from keeping their flags in their pockets the last 2 years
This is still Mack brown and Dan beebees faultBack in the game. First offensive holding call in 21 games from earlier tells it all... it's a f-ing conspiracy.

Sorry - but the ref thing makes our fan base look like sissies. As Jimmy Johnson once said, refs are the reason you don’t play games close (or something to that effect). We received some favorable calls too (the pass interference on Mo Washington was a gift that gave us a first down). The goal should be to more disciplined, stronger and faster than your opponent so you do not have to hold them when they are out man-ing you or resort to shortcuts because you are getting outplayed.Back in the game. quit complaining about the officials and make sure you don't give them the opportunity to screw you. play better, score more points don't leave it in their hands or flags if you will. this is exuses for why we don't win games, we don't win because we are not the better team, it's very simple people. play better and you will win more, if you get beat it's not because the officials are out to get us.
What's your source on the 8 penalties thing, @huskerhomie ?

I believe Frost made the comment during a pressor that they sent plays to the b10 office re the purdue game and the league got back to them and said 8 of the penalties should not have been called.
Is that correct?Huh? We sent plays into the B10 office after the Purdue game and they ADMITTED that 8 of our penalties should NOT have been penalties. 8 penalties. That cost us i dont know how many points.
That is called a screw job of epic proportions. SO please dont give me this "play better" crap.

I would love to hear the audio where Frost said this. Post a link, please.
I can understand a point of view that questions how Nebraska losing games benefits the B1G. That said, there are teams in this league with far more influence than us (Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Penn State ) that I could see holding a grudge or having an interest in seeing our resurgence stifled. I don't know this and could certainly be wrong but some signs point to it. We get the hardest scheduling in the B1G and seemed to lack the benefit of the doubt from refs in most games I remember. I am pretty sure we are not highly regarded in this conference but I actually hope I am wrong.Since you’re talking to me like I’m stupid, go ahead and explain how Nebraska losing football games benefits the B1G.
I don't think it was Frost. I believe it was one of the beat reporters that had got the information out of the coaching staff, but I do remember hearing that.
