Losing 12-7 to Rutgers at the half. Wildcats only have 84 yards of offense, less than they had in the last 2 minutes of the game against us.

We got to get our Defense figured out soon. Yery disappointing to see Rutgers taking it to Northwestern. Just imagine what we could be with a pas rush, or a player like Shaquem Griffin?
UCF with Griffin and Mike Hughes still gave up 753 yards to Memphis and 653 yards to South Florida.
Still, there was something that’s eluded us, a pass rush. Something we could use right now.
If we don't have one by now, I can't see us having one any time this year.
What happened to the pass rush we had vs. Colorado? Looked promising.
Not sure? I know we have other players on the team that haven’t played, so wondering what the plan is for them? 4 game rule still in effect for freshman so hoping we see something going forward here.

I am sure NW was over looking Rutgers after beating Michigan State, Nebraska and almost beating Michigan.
And Northwestern beat michigan state on the road by 10, and michigan state is only losing to Michigan by 7...so Northwestern could beat michigan by 3 except that they lost by 3, but we lost by 46 to michigan, but then only by 3 to Northwestern...so....Frost sucks.

Football is a game of matchups. One teams strength against another teams strength or weakness. NW doesn't run well so stop the pass and you have them on dimensional.
We are just so bad on D we make everyone look good. As I type this, Minny is marching

Genius was a little tongue in cheek, but also a little true. You know more than me regarding X’s and O’s, so I appreciate the response.
The only thing I would say is Rutgers shouldn’t be a problem matchup for anybody, in my opinion. This game went down to the wire and never should have.
