They’re immediately eligible?

I doubt Vedral will see the field without multiple injuries this year. Next year will be worse for him, as far as starting or playing, unless of course, I'm oblivious too his God given talent.

He's a Nebraska kid that will probably only play in the spring game. It just means more to play here. If a kid doesn't want to be on your team anymore, let them go. There is no need for acrimony and hand wringing.

A bunch of men. They're men. Don't get me started; left because of whatever. I hope a bunch more leave. It might result in a ****** season next year too, but there is no gathering the past to be excellent in the future. That **** is over.

This is more to the Husker hopefuls than the trolls. This is a dirt rebuild. Foundation up. The past has nothing to do with the future. It's irrelevant to our future success. Except for a tiny recruiting bump for name recognition.

End rant

Super relevant to the discussion, dork. Thanks for your input. Must be bored, can't find the bath salts in your Florida trailer?

Lmao, for so many beautiful women, Florida is the wart on the anus of Merica'. California is the anus. Lived in both places, generalizations are necessary. Don't be offended.

Noah like his grandfather (HC at Wahoo Neumann) and uncles (HC at Skutt Catholic and OC at Millard West) wants be a football coach. He went down to UCF and followed Scott here so he could one day become a coach like the rest of his family.

Maybe in the long run, maybe even today. But hard to imagine he was the better option in game two, when Vedral had a whole year in the system under his belt.
For having had a full year in the system, less reps or not, he didn't look very good in the spring game. JMHO.

He didn't look good at all. I would even say he probably looked like the 4th best QB in the system then, but it was one scrimmage. I had heard some say that he looked really good in some spring and fall practices. He gives us another option at QB and I like it

For those that couldn't read it (subscriber access) -

UCF didn't process some paperwork very quickly, as quickly as they could, or as quickly as members of the nebraska staff expected.

Prior to that UCF did not clear Vedral to transfer to UCF - kind of like the restrictions Nebraska just slapped on a bunch of kids. Vedral's decision to walkon was a loop hole for Vedral and Nebraska to not care if UCF released him or not.

Nebraska spent money on a private flight to fly a back up QB to Evanston, and put a kid making a dream trip (another back up QB) on a flight back home. Personal opinion of me injected - This bit of news from an organizational development perspective, is a curious from a 'culture building' perspective

The slant is ' those meanies from florida' delayed and hurt Nebraska.

Back to my opinion or desire - I think Nebraska should kind of keep their lips sealed on tampering insinuation's levied in the past several weeks. I think Frost actually has, or did so in recent comments. However, the local media machine is spinning, the optics are not good, and it reeks of hypocrisy.

Wondering how it reeks of hypocrisy when Frost hasn’t complained much about it... he said there was an issue that held it up but then said that was all he was gonna say about it.

The media, on the other hand, dug up the story, right? Or am I missing something?

Vedral should not be eligible to play whatsoever so not sure why you all are so upset about this. He transferred and should have to sit a year. NU should be stoked to have someone who can play now and if need be red shirt this year (which is ideal considering the 0-6 start).

Sour grapes don’t taste good at all.

Why you complaining about it here, anyway? Doesn’t the NCAA have a rivals board you can troll?

UCF didn't delay his eligibility, they flat out denied it. If it were up to UCF, he would not be eligible until next year.

Probably cost us a game, but in the grand scheme of things not that big of a deal, I guess.

No doubt it cost us the Troy game....

This season has been bizarre and we have things that has played against us despite us tripping ourselves up along the way...
