Doesn’t this happen all the time? ADs across the country are self reporting incidents in all sports and nothing ever comes of it because what is self reported is relatively minor?

Believe it or not, Husker Baseball used to be a blast. Went to many games when I was in school, but then again, that was the Van Horn to Childress/Anderson team.

Oh yeah, I remember those times as well. I also remember before that when the games would be going on and people just walked right on by without even really looking at what was going on.

Those were the days. I was an undergrad from 1990-1994 and parked in the commuter lot just north of Memorial Stadium. Quite often a baseball game would be underway when I walked back to my car after class. There would be maybe 30 people in the stands, just parents and girlfriends. I used to stand and watch for a little while. The program really wasn't that bad back then, despite the back of fan interest. They won 42 games in 1990. It's crazy how DVH was able to drum up fan interest in only two years.

That is EXACTLY what I am talking about...it was so weird...no one was there no one cared. I imagine the games were free?

Yeah we would usually try to catch one when were in town for coaches clinic. NU vs UT one year. That was fun sitting in the BUCK. Saunders had some decent teams but Van Horne was something special.

Left the spring game at halftime in the 90s once and headed over to Buck. Pretty good crowd there that day. Nebraska is getting their *** kicked by Kansas, I think. Ball goes through one of our infielders' legs and somebody in the crowd stands up and yells at the player so that everyone in the stands could hear him to get his head out of his ***. Good times.

That was a long time ago. Like, back then I could actually sell a pair of football tickets and didn't have to give them away.
