We hope your brief stay here is fruitless and unsatisfying. Nonetheless, we look forward to your futile attempts at trolling and the ease with which they're stymied. Gophers1985 and GoldenShower666 should be along any time now.

One caveat:
If there are any real Minnesota fans in the house, you are actually very welcome here. We look forward to shooting the **** with you. Here's to cold beer, sunny weather and no injuries this Saturday.

Uh I don't think you'll find many. 84-13 comes to mind. That and 2-10 record in the BigTen going back to last season. 0-3 this season. The only thing I will say is we don't want to be 0-4. Two new coaches, our programs have faced each other the most (amongst BigTen teams).

I've yet to make it to Lincoln, but look forward to doing it some time soon. Maybe 2020? We did our annual road game to Maryland. Had to seeing my wife actually said "we're going to Maryland". She has a friend/ college roommate from Nebraska, so that should motivate her to go to a Nebraska home game. Me, I just want to experience a game in Lincoln. That and pad my unimpressive stadiums visited count.

Regarding the game, like many teams, our program is young and a little banged up, but showing some improvement. The passing game is okay at times, but inconsistant. The running game hasn't been very strong. Part of that is losing one of the would be starters before the season started, and the other starter in the first game. The two freshmen are starting to pick things up.

The defense is more of a bend, "but don't break" defense. Inconsistent. Still give up two many big plays.

Seeing that both teams are hungry for a conference win, it should be a good game.

Cheers!

Thanks for the honest assessment, STP. So you know, I wasn't saying that actual Gopher fans would come here to troll. We've just had a weekly infestation of trolls pretending to be either Husker fans or fans of whatever team we're playing that week. Guessing we'll see a faux Gopher or two before Saturday arrives. A Fauxpher, if you will.

You should definitely make your way to Lincoln soon. You'll be treated well wherever you go. Minneapolis is a great city but I've never been to a game up there. The outdoor stadium looks like a nice environment. With it not being a college town, is there a tailgate scene around the stadium?

If I needed validation as a message board VIP, your obsession with me would provide plenty.
That's why you're watching every thread I'm in and posting. You're obviously a sad dude lol, pretend you're happy on here but you got called out for a dumb post. Pretend you're okay but you'll be mad when you look in the mirror tonight. See ya! UCF biatch!!

For you Huskers fans that aren’t familiar with the Gophers. Minnesota is one of the youngest teams in college football. Minnesota best 3 players are all hurt Antonio Winfield JR, Rodney Smith and Shannon Brooks. The WRs unit is the best core of WRs in years impressive unit and 2 of them are freshman. Starting QB Zack Annnexstad is a true Freshman walk on. He suffered a ankle sprain in the non conference but he looked healthy last week.He has struggled throwing the ball deep and has thrown some INTs throwing deep. Minnesota defense has been strong against the run but the pass defense has been horrible. I expect Nebraska to put up a lot of passing yards on Saturday.

I will be making my first trip to Lincoln for the game on Saturday! Looking forward to seeing the sea of red! Row the boat Ski U MAH GO BIG RED.

Thank you for the honest breakdown. Enjoy your first visit to Lincoln. Hit the bars on O Street before the game if you're into that. Make your way down to the Railyard area at some point before or after.

If tailgating is your thing, you could honestly walk up to just about any lot, say hello, and people will feed you and/or give you beer. Nebraska loves visiting fans.

Good luck on Saturday. I expect a close, physical game.
