Also, why the F do you not go power and run forward on 4th and short if you’re going for it. It’s the B1G and Nebby should have that power game.

I have to sadly agree. I might be the biggest Scott Frost fan but not trying to get a first down up 7 with 2 min. to go, I called it right there, knew we would lose the game. Stupid.

This is what you do after your team wins its fifth game? Start a "concern troll" thread on someone else's board? Man.

How is all the defensive penalties and inability to block and get the ball to QB coaching?

Time to bench the interior line and start benching every player who commits stupid defensive penalties. Don't know how many yards the defense gave up in penalties the last 5 mins of the game.

Stupid.[/QUOTE Yah, me too. Take 15 seconds off the clock after the onside kick--then I could really see it coming. Along with Fat Albert the house Zebra. Late in the game FINALLY gives NW a 5 yd penalty. I guess to legitimize his reffin' job. Our DE was real tired tho--no depth at all. Lots of factors.

Yeah, even the 100% die hard Frost people can't explain away this one. I was a die hard frost guy.
I still am but man there were some head scratchers there. I thought when we pinned them at the 1 he had a chance to look like a genius by running it in to the line 3 times using up NW timeouts...wrong. I don't think that Frost is calling the plays, but I think he may need to start. Then the false start in OT causing a decision on 4th down. Bad snap...and well. Player errors that are tough to pin on a coach.

I agree it’s not Frosts fault that fourth down snap didn’t get to Martinez, but Frost’s teams have shown to be undisciplined.

The 3rd and 4th down conversion is on Chinader and play calling. What were we 0-5 on 4th down stops. What are we for the year 1-16.

Maybe we need to stop hiring former Iowa Hawkeye players to coordinate our defense.
maybe. Maybe we need to recruit DBs that can cover a white Northwestern WR. The guy had 12 catches and 2 TDS. Jackson gave up a TD to a true freshman. Wasn't even close to him.
