and focusing on what they are doing, we were not going to win, and we had mistakes.
but I figured this game would be a lot worse. maybe frost is getting the team to concentrate on playing football? I know this is a sacrificial year, so hopefully frost can get all the cancer out. and start a new next year.

I agree- settling. Defense is not a Big Ten defense, but the O will be potent as Martinez grows... heck,it’s getting dynamic with him as a freshman

You’re right. Despite the obvious progress and records set tonight, we may as well cancel the football program because of your displeasure with a handful of penalties.

Uhhh....handful of penalties? Nebraska's penalty problems are outrageous.

Nebraska made no progress tonight. The offensive numbers, like last week, came when they were three scores down. When the game was still in doubt, NU failed over and over again.

But the offense is the strength of Nebraska, penalties and all. NU's defense and special teams are so awful there are no words in the English language to describe it.

Patience my friend. This team will be the #1 defense in a couple years. Watch the intensity, passion, hard Hitting.

I know. Amazing that they aren’t first in the B1G... who cares that this is their 3rd defensive coordinator in three years. They should be lighting it up, because SCOTT FROST!!!

Give it a rest and give them a chance to make progress. It’s hard for some to see any progress against a top 20 team in their stadium at night, who also has 3 All American linemen blocking up front.

The complete meltdowns of Pelini where we watched the jet sweep go for 40 yards a pop due to the team quitting was much more egregious and demoralizing, in my opinion.

You can fix penalties before you can fix a quitters attitude, and I’m encouraged watching these boys fight for 60 minutes.
