Watched the BigTen elite episode the other night that featured the '97 Huskers with Scott Frost as QB. Who was the starting offensive center for the Huskers in the Orange Bowl game vs. Peyton Manning and Tennessee?
Heskew is right. Josh and Aaron Taylor took turns playing center early in the season I believe. Then finally Heskew settled in as the starting center. Taylor went on to win the Outland Trophy. Yeah I agree. Brett Byford as well. ;-)Aw. Mags. I asked that one a few years ago. The thing I liked about Oklahoman Heskew was that he sort of came out of nowhere to rise up the depth chart. Sort of like Brett Byland.
