Good football is like a symphony with someone playing a beatbox in the audience. It takes many sections in coordination to look good and then you're battling the noise being brought on by your opponent.

Frost's challenges:
-Losing culture in the program
-Freshman QB hasn't played since Jr. year of H.S.
-New off. scheme being implemented / limited playbook.
-Fan/Media Pressure.
-New defensive scheme for players, some on their 3rd coordinator.
-Poor officiating.
-Oh Yeah, and that ******* on the other sideline won't turn down his effing radio. The other coach and his players want to knock you off so very badly.
-Difficult schedule only gonna get tougher.

The only thing we as fans can control is our positive support and patience. We owe it to our home state boy to not be another roadblock to him. If you can't find it within yourself to support our head coach & players then GTFO.

BTW - This is about Frost specifically, screw the Ohioan & Oregonian moneygrabbers before him.

Yep..it's ok to vent.

But get over it and support Frost afterwards.

We are not firing another coach in 3 years......Not happening.

Sort of...but not really.

The new scheme and fan pressure didn't lead to a lame play vs CU on 3rd and 24

Nothing you listed above has to do with losing to Troy

Purdue just embarrassed NU at home...

There are many challenges I didn't list. I'm trying to make the players & coaches accountable without denegrating their self-worth. This isn't prison, despite the backhole rape that took place today and previous weeks.

It is football...it is a poorly coached team with some players that are not all that good. It really is that simple. It will get better.

I think you're playing a fine devil's advocate, I know that you know better than anyone, there are detailed challenges to coaching a good football team. Frost has a lot of uncontrollable obstacles, I'm asking fans to not be another one.

I'm asking you sarcastically, if you have paid any attention to this season thus far?

How can you possibly ignore the issues as pointed out? I know you've been here a long time, but c'mon man... there are GLARING problems.
It isn't ignoring...it is being realistic.

Just like the Riley Lovers loved pretending there was some BoToxin that kept that loser from winning...there wasn't. Right now Frost is learning on the job vs better players and better coaches and some bad luck...but he will learn.

Oh I agree...there has been some bad luck. No doubt.

Fair enough. Agreed on bad luck and that he will learn.

Contrary to what has been said on this board ad nauseam, we have not been out talented in any game this year. We have been outplayed and the reasons behind that are numerous. Mistakes have been made by coaches and players alike.

I said this earlier this week in another thread. People who have never owned a business, managed/coached a team, hired or fired, will never understand. In my business it’s 6 months just to gather basic product knowledge, culture, and day to day systems and processes. It takes a year to 18 months to really begin to operate autonomously with confidence. 2-3 years before I would consider that new hire truly ready to be called a professional/expert. We have an entirely new staff with an entierly new roster (to them) with roughly 40% turnover. That’s insane. I don’t care how talented people are from top to bottom, there are growing pains.

No matter who you are, what job you do, company you work for etc. Try to think of it this way. Imagine walking into your workplace on Monday morning, you have a new boss, his boss is new, all the way up to the company CEO. In addition to that half the people you work with are new with limited experience. How chaotic would it be at work and how long would it take for things to “get back to normal?” That’s what is going on here. It’s just going to take time. Several years. Frost is going to be great, but it’s just going to take time.

Michigan has better talent across the board, so they did out talent Nebraska. The rest I agree with.
