Due to the fact that I was at the game on Saturday and had very limited wi-fi capabilities, I was unable to add any commentary on the game. So, on a scale of 1 to 10, here are the things off the top of my head that I can remember, as well as my short take on how we looked live 26 rows up from the field. Feel free to ask any other questions about the experience!

Michigan Stadium: 9. The Big House a behemoth of a stadium. Though it seats 110,000 + standing room, Memorial Stadium looks just as big. Its layout reminds me of the Rose Bowl, dug slightly into the earth, wide and spread out. Inside the gates, concourses were open and very free-moving.

Night Life : 8. Reminded me a lot of Lincoln, just bigger. If I was still in college and could afford it, I would seriously consider going there. It was a really fun place to be. Main Street bars were great, local beer was excellent, Husker and Wolverine fans just having a great time despite the big L we took.

Lodging : 8. Stayed 1.5 miles from the stadium in a AirBnB with 4 other buddies. Loved the area, tons of wooded trees and we walked to and from the Stadium and bar scene.

Fan Friendliness : 7. Before and after the game Michigan fans were good to us. Welcoming and complimentary of how much we traveled. I think we were in a die-hard section for the game, so of course we had some hecklers and loud mouths, but you have to remember that they are the 5% of their fanbase that expects national championships every year. Definitely not as bad as Wisconsin or Penn State fans, but a few of them got annoying. Came pretty close to asking how the Appalachian State game was in '07 to a fan near me. But, like the smart guy I am, I held my tongue. Thought about going down to a 6.5 grade because you will need a little thicker skin there, but then I realized that if you are that petty to be affected by opposing fans opinions, that's a personal problem that you need to fix.

Actual Game: 2. We got freaking destroyed. Last week I said if we couldn't block it would be a long day at the Big House. Well... we didn't block and it was a long day haha. Their defense just kept swarming and swarming. It felt like an avalanche. I gave this a 2 only because how beautiful a day it was and how cool it was to watch Frost and Harbaugh interact at midfield in pre-game warmups. Another point for our coaching staff and team looking uniform and nobody straying from what they were given to dress up in.

Best part of the day: Michigan fans surrounding us repeatedly saying, "Man there are a lot of Nebraska fans here. Dang!"

Overall: 7.5 - Besides Lincoln, this was by far the best Big 10 atmosphere I have experienced. Felt like a true Big Ten town, a true Big Ten stadium. Ann Arbor was great and I would recommend it to anyone. Next time we play them, make plans and GO!

Ann Arbor bigger than Lincoln in what way? Bigger night life scene?

I was sitting right behind Nebraska’s bench at the 40. I saw Stan trying to keep everyone focused and positive the entire time - the dude was clearly pissed though; Mo Washington had to be physically restrained by a teammate who literally had to lift him off the ground from behind as MW screamed a few times, “what did u say to me!”
After TL fumbled the punt at midfield and approached the sideline, Tyrin Ferguson intentionally gave him a bump with his shoulder pad that knocked TL off balance. TL looked back at TF but TF just kept running onto the field.
At one point Spielman was jawing with someone right after his 3rd or 4th kickoff fair catch. This incident occurred after the fair catch at around the 15 that could’ve been returned.
Could be wrong but Raridon doesn’t look like a BIG lineman. Seems kind of narrow with a big belly.
Multiple times u could see #5 go the wrong way as a Mich RB strolled on by.

Sounds like a team that’s 0-3.

Ann Arbor is on the outskirts of Detroit. Lots of suburbs The county has a larger population than Lancaster county I believe
This. This is kind of why it felt bigger. Should have rephrased and said it felt more populated. Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me because they had 20,000 extra seats. Crowd was 111,000+

You promised to go Shamus O'Toole, so I hope you aren't remembering much.

Actually went for a bachelor party. /Almost/ Stopped at "Secret Fantasies" in the middle of Illinois on the way there, but we opted out of that. We went hard nonetheless and downed quite a few bitter IPAs in lieu of the beatdown.

It is one thing not to have total buy-in. But incidents involving shoving and screaming between fellow teammates shows a deep division which, in turn, indicates lack of trust (maybe even hostility) is another story. Not good. That either gets reconciled soon or it festers and worsens. Frost may have no choice but to bench or dismiss players to get control of the team.

Great place to go to a game as far as fans go. Couldn't find a nicer bunch of folks. Not a harsh word all day and we walked a LONG way to try to find a bar and found a place called Hopcats(?). Pretty good grub but the whole "Stanford of the East" thing is a real life stereotype come to life. Very subdued town atmosphere and felt like I should order tea and crumpets.

In Lincoln I'm used to every bar playing the fight song, band coming around and a general "big fight" atmosphere. We looked and found very few bars around so the pregame activities were pretty non existent.

The stadium, while massive, never seemed deafening loud. I suppose that's because of the gentle slope shape instead of straight up to hold in sound.

Definitely a great road game to attend just for the fan side. The rest was pretty sterile, it seemed. I'm SURE I'll be longing for Ann Arbor after the trip to Sconsin....

Had a very similar experience. I’ve been there 2 times before. Very pleasant small city and surrounding wooded area. Very relaxing walk to the game from the hotel. I would highly recommend it.

A few annoying fans, but overall they treated us very nicely. I think that they tend to be nice unless your team is a serious threat to them. Doubt they treat Ohio State fans well

As far as the game, well you all saw it. It was painful and it’s not fun to invest so much in a road trip to see any loss, especially one so lopsided. Oh well.., that’s part of being a true fan. You take the good and the bad

Very nice to hear guys! Love the reviews. Very insightful. Have had thoughts to travel on the road for a bit now. If you don't mind, where does UM end up on a fan list... both big12, (for reference), and B1G?
