Hopefully after the Michigan game, Frost realizes that we can't count on just developing 3-star guys and walk-ons to beat teams like Michigan.

His comments about not needing an ace recruiter were disappointing to me. Because of where Nebraska is geographically, I think it’s imperative to have one or more of those types of assistant coaches.

Wisconsin seems to make it work

Not really. Their recent record against the top recruiting teams - Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State - is not very good. They haven't won a conference title since Bielema (which was before Urban Meyer, Jim Harbaugh, and James Franklin joined the Big Ten).

Ah the old Wisconsin argument. You know who can't beat Michigan, Ohio St and Penn St? Wisconsin.

1-7 against those 3 teams since 2013. Lone win was last year at home vs Michigan.
So what do you suggest Nebraska does? Fire Frost 3 games in? I would take Wisc at this point.

First of all I never insinuated that Frost should be fired, that is just a typical response for when someone questions what is going on.

2nd, my response was about recruiting. In this thread about.....you guessed it .....recruiting.

A poster stated that hopefully this shows Frost that he can't rely on recruiting and developing lower ranked and walk on OLinemen. To which you replied Wisconsin does it. To which I replied, Wisconsin doesn't do it and beat teams like Michigan, Ohio St and Penn St. Nothing more, nothing less.

You forgot to mention they have only played Michigan twice since 2013... Badgers are 3-1 against Michigan since 2009..
