Colorado State is not very good and Colorado is probably going to finish 3rd or 4th in the Pac 12 South.

CU can put up points. However the PAC12 doesn't exactly play D. We still really don't know what this Nebraska team can do, neither does CU. If this game was on a neutral site I say it is a 50/50. Being we are at home I think that gives us the win. We wear them down by the 4th. 45- 28
I keep thinking that the Skers lose this game. I think I am still Rileyed and I can't shake it yet.
Gotta admit, I also still smell some of the stench of the Riley era that lingers, along with the accompanying sense of impending doom. I need to see NU play some good football to eradicate it. Let’s start this week. NU 40 CU 30.
OMG, hope I'm completely wrong. But I don't feel good about this game and I hate the Buffs.....Growing up only 12 miles from the Colorado

I keep feeling the same way. However I’m totally pumped that we’ll see an offense with some imagination (not that pro-style crap).

Agree NU will be on fire and your score looks about right. I say 35-21. I'm not sure how you got them at 23 unless they get a safety or miss a PAT.

Yep, I think these guys are ready to put last year behind them and show the college football world that they are better than 4-8 and that the Scott Frost hype is real. I think it’s probably close through much of the first half, but then we begin to see the resurgence of Husker Power as we wear them down in the second half.

Hard fought game that could come down to who has the ball last. Nebraska, as it has been talked about, without game 1 experience, rookie QB, vs team with one win, experienced QB, and a chip on their shoulder to come to Lincoln and win. Huskers win in razor close game, I'll tell you the score when it's over!
So a true freshman that hasn't taken a snap in about 2 years, playing for a team that is playing it's first game, against a team that has a game under their belt (a rivalry game at that), with a new coaching staff, is going to score about 50 points? I do not see that at all. 21-20, good guys.

Count me among the ranks of those who have a bad feeling about this game. I just hate the fact that CU has a game under its belt and we don't. If Martinez is not rattled by first game jitters I think we win. But I think we need to remember that this kid has not played in a real game in a long time. And never before on this big of a stage.
