Hopefully Wandale Robinson really liked the new Tunnel Walk. We were already a long-shot for him, this doesn't help.

CU game just got even more important for recruiting. Wonder if they can get the kids from tonight to come back next week.

Severe thunderstorms in September is incredibly stupid. That would be my take as a recruit.

Would have to be on unoffical...expensive tickets on short notice to pay their own way

Is there something in the rules that these officials don’t count because the game was canceled?

It's more about seeing campus and the facilities IMO. Sucks that the game got cancelled but I wouldn't twist your panties about it. Kids know that isn't the team's fault.

They got to see the stands packed and the tunnel walk, spend time with the team and the coaches.

Not as good as a great game, but better than no official.

Like I said yesterday, at least the recruits got to meet the celebrities and former players, as well as see the tunnel walk and kickoff and witness/feel the energy of the fans/atmosphere. Did they get to see an entire game? No and it sucks because I'm sure some were looking forward to seeing how their position was being played by current players, but it is what it is. They should of still come away knowing how juiced our fans our for this program and this staff.

*Edit* from a brief scan of several recruiting guys twitter accounts like Clouse, Bruntz, Wiltfong, Schaefer, etc. it sounds like the recruits enjoyed their visits despite the game being canceled.

Has any recruit ever said that they didn't enjoy an official visit?
These kids will never forget this visit. That tunnel walk was by FAR the best one I have ever seen. It was just electric in the stadium...I thought the girl beside us was going to pee her pants when they did the flyover. So many times the tunnel walk and things are out of whack but everything ran perfectly. The music was GREAT and when Frost led them out the place just went nuts. The highlight of the whole trip for these guys was going to be that tunnel walk and they got to see it.

No and good point. I will say though that it's probably better when a national guy like Wiltfong says Wandale Robinson loved his visit, instead of just a local guy.

I keep telling my pastor that I remember ALOT more from a 10 minute sermon than a 30 minute sermon. Winking The impression our fans and that stadium made on those kids last night will not be forgotten.

That's good, because these guys were saying last week that we were probably 5th on Robinson's list before the visit. They said he really liked how Purdue used Rondale Moore the other night, so it would have been good to show him in person how we use our Duck-R position.

Who knows, maybe spending time with Gabrielle Union helped more than seeing the game.

That flyover was definitely synced perfectly.

I thought the girl standing to my left was going to pee her pants when they came over North Stadium. Screamed like a crazy woman.
I ll bet. Facing south would have been a surprise. I ll never forget when they had the vintage planes fly over. Probably exaggerating but they were about 5 minutes late. It was cool but timing was off.

I like the ones were they say they almost comitted. They'll get a chance to see Frost's offense though.

The O-line recruits I'm less worried about. We need kids like Robinson see the Husker offense score and kids his size be used effectively.

They're not many any offenses that will use his skillset better.

The weather suckiness on Saturday night is magnified by not getting a commit from this game. I was hoping for a couple of verbals based on the large number of recruits in town. Hope the slate for Colorado fills up this week and we pull in some big time talent! GBR!

There was not an expectation of any commit announcement coming during the weekend.
