CSU has one of the worst defenses in college football, so it's not hard to see cu putting up points. Rams may put on a second half rally, but will still fall short.Going to be a battle for us
Solid team that wasn't so solid last year, and they are playing a horrible defensive team, one that also lacks severely in the special teams department.CU wins in Lincoln. Solid team
Vintage Jesse Ventura:Is Jesse "the body" Ventura doing color for this game? He sounds like it.
He has to sit.Can POB play for CSU this year, or does he have to sit this year?
Do you like the way he went with the short short sleeves without the black cuff to accentuate the guns? lol One thing is for sure. Either CU is really good or CSU is really bad.The umpire that announces penalties has some major guns on him. He must run a gym in his day job.
Colorado State lost to Hawaii last week, a team that went 3-9 last year. I hardly think how Colorado fares against Colorado State tells us much.
Vintage Jesse Ventura:
Exactly. There will be points scored next week. This defense of ours might be very good by mid to late season, but I suspect there are going to be growing pains early on.It was also the most points Colorado has scored on them since 1996.So CSU has allowed 43 and 45 points in 2 weeks..
Never the less Colorado looked good last night and should be a high scoring affair next week..
Colorado State has really struggled so far this year. Colorado will be a test, but I'm not worried anymore than I was before.Going to be a battle for us
Probably not a high scoring affair. CU could have scored quite a bit more than 45 but they shut it down 3rd quarter. I would worry more about CU's D than the O anyway. The O shot itself in the foot a little too much for my tastes, but the D was very solid. CSU went 400 yards and 30 points in a quarter against Hawaii, but didn't get 300 yards against CU with backups in mid 3rd quarter. The D is much improved to say the least. I see a low scoring slobber knocker type of game where both offenses struggle. I don't see Nebraska with it's freshman QB scoring a ton of points in this one and I don't see CU scoring a ton of points on the road in Lincoln (when have we ever in Lincoln?).It was also the most points Colorado has scored on them since 1996.So CSU has allowed 43 and 45 points in 2 weeks..
