I am an old timer and I love our traditions. And we have debated many of them on here:
Blackshirts
Balloons
Tunnel Walk
Area codes
Alternate Jerseys
Sellout Streak (shout out to Tuco)

But I have come to the conclusion that I don't give a **** about any of them.
The Scott Frost era starts Saturday night.
There is only ONE tradition I want us to return to:
Winning
GBR

Good for you old person. Now if we can just keep old people from going to games but still send their checks to NU things would be perfect . average age should be 25 instead of 65 and things would rock at Memorial Stadium.

And thats why people cant stand your entitled millenial age group. Show the man some respect. I am quite sure he has earned it over his lifetime.

Winning cures all Evils and it makes it easier to clap, stand, and stomach... the hate that comes when you are on top.

substance over form. Perhaps its time to start a new tradition, winning.

I am one who never paid attention to stripes, white pants, tunnel walk music (I have no clue), yadda yadda yadda. I always figured people that do that aren't into the real substance of the game.

The best tradition we ever had was when opposing teams took the field against us and they wet their pants. A lot of teams were intimidated by just walking onto that field. Such was our strength and prowess.

Balloons didn't scare them. Or black shirts. Or tunnel walks. Or hot dogs shot out of a canon.
Our team scared them.
You played Nebraska and you went home bruised and hurting.
That is the tradition I want back.
It starts this Saturday

The road to getting back to that starts Saturday. It will take several years before we actually get back to that. Unfortunately, I think many will expect a quick despite Frost warning that it will take time to build. Many here (not necessarily you) will be disappointed and angry this season due to the results IMO. Patience.
