Does Bud Light count as cheap beer? If not, if not afraid to destroy some Keystone Ices for like $3.99/6-pack from the gas station. Gotta start it by throwing down a Fireball though!

As a kid, I remember this was one of my dads go to beers. Some other usual suspects found in the fridge were Old Milwaukee, Milwaukee'e Best, and Meister Brau. In the days when Falstaff was around, that was the exclusive beer in the fridge.

As for me, I prefer the more expensive stuff. That is not to say I don't drink the cheap stuff. When going to the farm this weekend, I will be picking up a Busch Light 30 pack. It is practically beer gatorade. My cheap beer for my fridge is always PBR though. It actually tastes great. I feel I have said way too much about my beer drinking habits.

Oddly enough, when I was young and in the Marines stationed in the northwest where microbeers were far more popular at the time than most places, this was our cheap beer of choice. Each bottle even had a riddle under the cap. There is a very funny scene from the movie Kalifornia with Brad Pitt and David Duchovney featuring this horrible beer.

That is definitely a Marine movie! LOL

He resdog, did you hear that Navy reestablished the 2nd Fleet in response to the Ruskies?
I have no idea what the 2nd fleet even is. People joke that the Marines are a department of the Navy, and we always reply that we are the mens department of the Navy. Keifer said it best in A Few Good Men. "We love you Navy boys. You give us a ride every time we wanna go fight somewhere."

Anyone remember when falstaff made a really cheap beer in a generic white can with black letters beer? You could buy a case for like $5 not sure on the price that was in the late 1970s early 80s

I was in high school, had a friend just old enough to buy it in CB (19 was the age) and it was a lil bit cheaper if you bought it warm, so we did what any reasonable person would do and bought it warm and poured it on ice.

Well, you are a part of the Navy. Where we go, you go. We're one and the same There's Seaman, Airman, Fireman and Marine, as far as I'm concerned. One of very best friends was a Marine. My sister, too. My nephew is deployed to Okinawa right now.

2nd Fleet is, I believe, the North Atlantic. It was deactivated in 2011. Now, with the hostilities with the ever aggressive Russian Federation, we need be able to assist the Europeans, if necessary.
