Remember when part of the stadium unfolded a big white flag that was just that picture of Pelini screaming into his headset like that? Not gonna lie, I don't miss the volatile coach who let us get blown out at least once a year, but I do miss the pure comedic gold that would come from having him around, too.

Compared to the previous three years? Yes please. Compared to what we have going forward? No thanks. If Pelini was able to avoid the blowouts, but still was himself, freaking out on sidelines, gruff demeanor, etc., would you still want him here?
What I was wondering about most specifically was do we care about behavior (e.g., this guy isn't classy and isn't a traditional leader of young men), or does performance override all?Compared to the previous three years? Yes please. Compared to what we have going forward? No thanks.

We do care about behavior and performance does not override all. I think that if Mike Riley had Bo's exact same on field performance... he would have had a job for a long long time. If Riley would have gone 9-4 with a few blowouts in big games every year... but did so with a smile on his face... I unfortunately think that he would have kept his job. What I was wondering about most specifically was do we care about behavior (e.g., this guy isn't classy and isn't a traditional leader of young men), or does performance override all?

This looks to be Colorado fans trying to make it to the game in Lincoln in a few weeks. Hope they make it in time. Has anyone seen them?
He won 9 games. No losing seasons. That’s what I’m asking. At what point does a douche bag personality hurt you?Do you really think HCs get paid the big money for being a "nice guy" only? No matter how horrible the field results are?
Well, maybe on the planet Pluto. But here on Earth, winning is priority #1. No matter how PC a HC is.....you gotta win.
