I can't see Campbell (an Ohio native) turning down OSU to stay in Ames. He's already peaked at ISU. Dan McCarney and Paul Rhoads are good examples of why you shouldn't stay there very long.

Campbell with OSU's resources would have them in the National title hunt every year. That's never happening in Ames.

Interesting that people mention Matt Campbell so much and think he'd be great at Ohio State. I recall a lot of people on here not being all that excited about him coming here in a "if Frost turns us down" scenario.

Well...this is for a team that we don't give a **** about...so it is different. People try to hard to play "spot the hypocrite" here is some advice...it is all of us, we all are.

I know people think everyone wants to job jump...but really with salaries how they are for these coaches the job jumping might not be as big of a pull. I mean...if ISU says "Here Matty, 10 years, 50 million" and OSU says "Here Matty, 5 years 33 million" I mean, why leave?

But you make a good point about Dan and Paul...sometimes you have to strike with the iron is hot
