We have three OL recruits as of right now. Bland is 6’4” 300. That seems pretty beefy to me. Anderson is the newest recruit, he’s 6’7” 250. With that frame, another year of High School, and some S&C on campus next summer he will have the potential to push 300. The other OL recruit is 6’4” 280. So the potential is there. We do need to get a big nasty DT though.

Even in today's recruiting world, if there is one position you want to wait to make an offer, it's on the OL. Projecting 16 year olds to become massive OL is not easy. Husker coaches must really be impressed by Anderson.
And they have several offers out to linemen. And they're probably still waiting on Canty to see if he's eligible, which would affect their numbers.

Skill position recruits by what seems the dozen, when are the “Big Boys” going to come?

We already have 2 and will bring in 3 more. We have the top interior JUCO OL in the country and have a high upside OT that just started playing the sport that fits the profile that the staff wants out of offensive lineman. You aren't going to see this staff going after a 6'6 330 kid that needs to lose 60 pounds of fat and put on 30 pounds of muscle. Instead you will see recruits that are lean that can add on bulk that are athletic and can move. Gotta remember this is an offense based on speed and a "fatty" that would get winded easy is not a fit for this offense.

The kid out of SD will likely go to Oregon. His twitter activity is basically all Oregon these days.

They are recruiting these guys from what I know:

Brenhart - Twin Cities
Ike out of Kansas City
Miller - Colorado
Grant - south dakota
Lynn - Colorado
Chris - Florida

Piper could easily be moved to OG if desired, but he will likely sign for the DL.

We will probably get 2 names out of the ones that I listed.

Wish we could get Suh back to Lincoln for a few DT recruiting days. Wonder if he is still in love with Bo???

Actually you must lock up very good OL and DL this summer or you will have only left overs to pick from late this year.
