Fans need to learn how to win again. I don't give a hoot what the schedule looks like or any other excuses. The standard is 9 wins. What everyone has said has validity, but I'd rather not be an enabler of that type of thinking. We are going back to old school principals, and I hope more fans get the memo.

You can't just say we are Nebraska, we will win 9. We aren't entitled to win 9 because TO always did, we have to put in the work and become a quality team again. We have to build back up to that standard and then we should be there to say. It may happen next year, but it isn't a failure if it takes a year of 6,7, or 8 wins to get there first.

"The day may very well come that this conference will regret ever allowing us to join it as far as football is concerned! JMHO!! GBR!!!" That day already has come.

Anymore JUCO's coming this year? When is Nebraska going to also emphasize academics to go along with athletics?

This university has more Academic All-American's and Cosida All-American's than any other University and it isn't even close, it's actually pretty humiliating.

We are Nebraska, and the minimum standard I expect is 9 wins per season.

Please don't confuse that with saying we will win or that we are entitled to win 9.

Let me ask you a question, If you are a player, do you want your fans and coaches pushing you to be the very best and have the highest expectations for you and your team?

Or do you want a nice guy and empathetic fans setting the bar low for you so you can get an easy attaboy and a nice spank on the behind with your participation trophy?

C'mon man.. This is football, and we are Nebraska. We all should have high expectations for our team.
