the Warriors are looking up at elimination and the NBA could legitimately have a Houston - Boston finals.

Not sure many would like it as much as I would but it’s what I’m hoping for. No lebron no kd no problem for me.

NBA players are arguably the best all-around athletes. That said, I can't watch a game. Too long and indoors.

Very interesting they've lost their composure at the end of the last 2 games. A few better decisions and this series is over. Definitely hurt them not to have iguodala, they didn't have a fifth guy to trust at the end of the game which resulted in Quinn Cook taking the most important shot of their season so far. Hopefully Iguodala comes back and Chris Paul isn't badly hurt so we can get both teams at full strength to end the series. Would be pretty surprised if Cavs lost in 6 but absolutely shocked if the Warriors did. Hoping for 7 games in both.

I would love to see a Boston-Houston finals. But wait, "Mr. Injury", Chris Paul, has fallen apart again just when his team needs him the most. Don't worry though, he has bravely pledged try to ATTEND the next game! Thanks Chris. Way to go.

All I really want to see in the NBA to be a little more competitive across the board and maybe an underdog win a championship every now and again. Are any of us surprised by who made the conference finals? Its the teams that were projected to make the conference finals in the preseason. I really want to like the NBA but only two times in 71 years has a team that was lower than a 3 seed won. I mean what's the point of the playoffs? The league is pre-season until the conference championships. Too predictable.

Sure the Cavs are a 4 seed but they were not suppose to be. They were suppose to be the #1 or 2 seed. Besides, they are not winning it all. At least in other spots, you have a shot. I mean look at the MLB standings right now. No one had the Braves and Phillies tied for first in the NL East. No one had the Brewers in first. Just don't have that kind of shot in the NBA. Too many super teams and word on the street is it will only get worse. The one super team possibility for next year that is actually funny is Paul George and Lebron James to HOU. In case you haven't seen it, see below for why its funny

Starting line up first names would be
Chris
Paul
Lebron
James

Starting line up last names would be
Paul
Geroge
James
Harden

Kind of freaky.

Watched the Cavs Celtics game tonight no matter what people feel about Lebron.....nothing but respect about the way he plays. Special player. And if they do make it to the finals the way he has carried the team around him is crazy.

If LeBron isn't in the finals, I will watch a combined 6.4 seconds of the entire series. If LeBron is there, I will watch most of the second half, of some of the 4th quarters.

Rockets at home without Chris Paul is toss up. It comes down to what kind of game James Harden has. Astros were in some tough spots in the postseason too. Seems to be Houston’s year for some reason.

Rockets without Paul are less than a toss up. Golden State is a big favorite even on the road.

Likely Golden State knocks out the Cavs too, but LeBron lauded for getting this rag tag team to the finals in the era of super rosters.

LeBron is just not a human. In his 15th year after playing every single game of the regular season and playoffs he played every single minute of a game 7 without easily the second best player on his team on the road and won. Boston is not a great team but that was impressive.

When James wins more championships than he loses, then maybe we talk about him being best ever. As it is, he won two bronze medals in international basketball, and lost five NBA finals. I do not even put him top two. Plus he is a me-first jerk. We will see where he runs this time after the season. He never tried to make his team a juggernaut, just ran to where he thought it easier to win, and that has tarnished his image.

I have not liked him since he ran from Cleveland the first time. Plus he looks eerily like Barry no steroids Bonds.

Do not much like the Warriors, but dislike Harden more.

LeBron will likely lose yet another championship, and some will still argue him best of all time.

His image isn't tarnished. This is what the NBA is now. Sure he went to Miami to play along side Wade and Bosch. But yet goes back to Clevland wins a championship has been to 8 straight finals and took a team of scrubs this year to the finals. Obviously you can't stand the guy.

Your an idiot. He is greatness in this era. The warriors had to add Kevin Durant just to beat him.

Hastings, what pattern do you see? I comment rarely, and you have me figured out, good for you.

LeBron tarnished his image with the ridiculous espn event going to Miami.

I do not like GS primarily because Durant went there.

I do not like Harden because he is a crybaby that left two other MVP in Oklahoma City.

I also do not like Iowa.

Glad you got me figgered out.....

Lebron is 6'8'' 280. That is why he is good. All he has to do is muscle in, and he is unstoppable.

Every 6’8” 280 pound player has been just as unstoppable as LeBron James during their own career. LeBron simply gets by because of his genetics. His work ethic and skill are secondary with the success he has achieved in his career. If we could all be 6’8” 280 pounds...we could just cruise during our own life. Now I need to go have a discussion with my parents about my height and weight. Winking

Still say Jordan,Bird and Magic were all better Basketball players over James.

LeBron is good but he isn’t a better shooter and passer than Bird he isn’t a better ball handler and passer than Magic and he isn’t a better athlete than Jordan...

Wrong - LBJ has better shooting and assist %'s than Bird, debatable - Magic has better asst % but also higher TO%, debatable - they are both freaks.

You’re delusional.. No way is LeBron a better pure outside shooter than Larry Bird.... yea LeBron has more shoots driving to the basket I his career and that is why he has such a high FG%...

Next you’re going to tell me LBJ is a better ball handler than Pete Maravich.o_O

So you need to change the parameters to "better outside shooter". OK, sure, Bird is a better outside shooter than James.
You can pick and choose plenty of players that do a single thing better than LBJ but you won't find one that does it all like LBJ.

Your argument is just stupid. He's played the best team ever assembled 3 times, lost twice. Played a Spurs team with Ginobli, Duncan, and Parker especially firing on all cylinders. The only loss that James team should have won was against the Mavericks.

Ypu are 100% correct. LBJ stats are padded because he just bullies into layups. To even state he is on the same planet of a shooter as Larry Legend is just plain stupid.

Couldn’t you use the same argument against any of them?

Jordan isn’t a better shooter or passer than Bird, he isn’t a better ball handler or passer than Magic, he isn’t as powerful or as physical as LeBron.

Bird isn’t as athletic as Jordan, he isn’t a better ball handler than Magic, he isn’t as powerful or as physical as LeBron.

Magic isn’t a better shooter than Bird, he isn’t as athletic as Jordan and he isn’t as powerful or physical as LeBron.

Sorry i got you all riled. What i posted was not stupid, as it was an opinion, an opinion i still hold, no matter if you call me names.

Do you have an excuse for your Lebron love to explain how he lost two international tournaments surrounded with all star NBA talent? Jordan won those same events.

The conclusion I reach, stupid as you call me, is Lebron does not make his teamates better. He is a one trick pony.

Were i to chose one player to make my team win, regardless the era, i chose Jordan. Magic would be my second choice if Jordan not available. Bird or Kareem next, then maybe even Kobe.

Lebron is an all time selfish superstar, great stats, bad record.

Edited to remove typos lest i get called stupid again.

One more thing. I learned at Lincoln Southeast that to resort to name calling meant you already lost your argument. I do not post often, but I will stand behind what I say.

That was forty years ago. It still rings true today no matter what one may be debating/argueing over.
