I like Scotty, and think he is winner that gets it. But this isn't UCF. You cant run round us to beat us. You have to run through us to win.
BTW, I so want Nebraska to run through Michigan, OSU, and PSU, like it was the 90s. I really do. Yall have us at the end though.
Let's see... Auburn beat Alabama and was damn near a playoff team last year. UCF beat Auburn.
I doubt Frost is worried about running "through" Iowa.
Come to think of it, going around Iowa instead of through it is the best way to experience Iowa.

Just keep thinking Iowa is something special. If Frost can do what he did at UCF and against a top SEC team, he will definitely be able to do it against Iowa’s weak *** team. We might lose this year but you guys don’t have Mike Riley at coach for us to hand you guys easy wins anymore. Things change now, when you guys do win, it will be hard fought games won in the final quarter. Again, we have real coaching staff, that’s all we ever needed. Remember how Bo handled Iowa. He did pretty well if I remember correctly and he was a solid coach. Just imagine how much better we will be under a staff like Frost and every coach he had at UCF. Be scared Iowa, be very afraid.
And honestly now, this is a post about Frost and being excited, how in the world does that mean and Iowa fan, jump in and try and pound your chest about your guys crap feast you have going in Iowa? I mean really?? At least wait till it’s a general football post or something like that. Don’t jump into a Husker football deal and try and throw your crap team into it and expect us to be ok with it or talk good about the SuckEyes. If Frost is what we think he is, I think one of the best externalities of Nebraskas success will be no more Iowa fans coming here to post and start threads. No more Iowa discussion, except for game week when they will come talk crap and we will discuss.

Iowa hasn’t been anywhere and isn’t going anywhere. No reason that Nebraska shouldn’t win 75 percent of the games against io_a. History shows this to be true, prior to the “Kirk Ferentz” era AKA the nice guy mike Riley era. Io_a fan may not like it, but go take a look, KFs first three years were worse then MRs. The next decent post or thread started by an io_a fan will be the first.
The last three years are absolutely meaningless for the future of this series. When Nebraska has a decent HC, they beat Iowa (1-3 against Pelini lol). Judging by the hardware coach Frost won last season, I'm going to assume he is at the very least a decent HC. He'll probably win more games than lose against Iowa when it's all said and done.
First 2 years ... yes. Of course, he inherited a 2-9 roster, with absolutely horrible depth in the trenches. Mike Riley's circumstances were not the same.
The 3rd year was a win over Texas Tech for Iowa. 8-0 season and three staight Top 8 finishes.
Certainly, not Dr. Tom Osborne level success, but it took Dr. Tom over 20 years to win and win B1G.
Mike Riley and Kirk Ferentz are not good comparisons.
That's interesting because I've watched Northwestern run around and not through Iowa many, many, many times!

I think Nebraska and Iowa will become a competitive game again for years to come. Frost will move Nebraska up and Kirk & co seem to be recruiting better. Over a ten year period, I think Nebraska will win 60%+ of the head to head games. Scott has more killer instinct and I believe more adaptability than Ferentz. Just my opinion Winking.
I don't think winning 1 game in Io_a City every 10 years is gonna do it, BRR. I think it will be more 90-10 once Scott gets it going in year 2... and KF will be winding down. Beating teams like the squa_ks consistently will determine when Big Red is back.
