I was about too say the Johnson that is coming in isn’t a Wide Receiver and just 5-8 160..Laughing
He's the #1 JUCO DE in the nation and possible 5 star. JDs former teammate in high school.
Yeah, a late bloomer. Former teammate of J.D. Spielman. He'll be recruited by virtually everyone who has a need at his position.
I just love the fact that NU is back hitting jucos hard. It's a great opportunity to upgrade the talent level. Between this kid and the Iowa Western kid, I think we get one of those two and that kid will immediately get snaps rushing the passer from an outside linebacker position.
He had a great visit and is headed home now. He is good friends with Spielman.
