Since when did 5.7 become 4 Stars?? That used to be the top 3 star ranking. This Juco appears to be visiting us at some point. And the college he’s coming from, id assume that would give us a slight edge considering who we gotten from there last year.

I was just on his profile and it showed 3 stars. Weird. Has to be a malfunction.

Anyways. He's Woodyard and Greg Bell's former teammate. His vids are great. We need this guy.

These guys would be HUGE (literally and figuratively) this class...think we have the better shot with Telfort given his relationship with Guy Thomas and Simms' connection to both NU and Dewitt. Wouldn't count out anyone (except Blades) coming out of AZ Western...although I bet Tennessee gets heavily involved

in on some JUCO OTs

looked at the roster and it looks like we are in trouble if either Farniok or Jaimes goes down

any word on Bando, Brokop or Sichterman's ability to step in
Extremely thin at Tackle, hopefully Austin can teach some of these guards how to play tackle cause if either Jaimes or Farniok goes down were are screwed.

I am sure they are working to develop guys to be able to do this. Conrad is an option at tackle, as he played there as a sophomore.

Conrad, Gaylord and Bando maybe in that order. Supposedly having the prototype OT isn't as critical for Frost's offense as it was for Riley's. Hopefully we'll be okay and we'll have some walk ons step up for depth. I wonder what Freedom would be able to do as an OT if he could get big enough. The more I look at our roster, the less I'm worried about having enough bodies there. In the NFL with the limited roster spots it is common for guards to slide out to OT and a less experienced guy moves in to play guard. I could see us sliding Farmer outside in a pinch and playing Wilson or Raridon if need be. We've got some big guys down the depth chart who might be able to step up.

I sure hope you're right! That would be great.....our OLine upgrading (especially tackles & centers) is a big project imo. A couple vicious & brutal walk-ons would be terrific!

There's a Miller kid I think from Stromsburg who could develop in to a contributor. We've got plenty of bodies. A lot depends on what they do in their strength and conditioning programs this summer. We've got enough bodies it's just a matter of hard work IMO. Not so many prototype OT guys but we've got enough big bodies to work with. Coach em up. No excuses. Hopefully the guys are motivated by the wide open competition and opportunity for practice and game reps.

Very good sir! I'm pretty sure a large percentage of them have the right attitude which is so important. I'll keep an eye on that Miller player. Thanks for the scoop!

SIchterman and Gaylord are young, capable backups. This summer and fall of more S/C will only help, for the starters and backups.

Forgot about Sichterman. Everybody always wants to look elsewhere for depth and the BEST first place to look is guys already on the roster who maybe haven't performed well....yet. You put the right opportunity and reps in front of a kid and give him some confidence and good things can happen. Nobody can tell me that Iowa has been bringing in more talented O line recruiting classes than NU. The issue has been the weight room, scheme and reps IMO.
