Golf is better with a good Tiger, ratings exploded. My guess is the players want him to be back with in form!!
"ratings exploded". Laughing Golf sucks to watch. I put up there with professional poker and tetherball.
I loved watching the USA win gold in curling at the Olympics. You forgot curling.
Cool. I’ve also heard the Phoenix Open is like spring break. So, I would say the attendance is more due to the party-like atmosphere than it is about golf. Just my opinion...again.By the way, I’ve been to the Phoenix Open several times and Tiger hasn’t played at any of them. This year they broke the record for attendance...again.

I don't watch much golf so I only watch when Tiger plays and even then usually just the majorsThere’s no denying Tiger is the biggest draw. But for me it doesn’t matter whether he plays or not, I’m a huge golf fan so I watch the tournaments.
There are a lot of exciting young players right now, my favorite is probably Jon Rahm however it was great to see Phil win last week.

Who will be left playing then? Let's not pretend all other players are saints Du.I don't want a creepy hooker-banging sex-addict playing on the PGA Tour, and I hope he never wins another tournament. The man is a worm.
Agree! And while we're at it, let's make sure the Lincoln Journal and the OWH stop running articles on the Huskers. WinkingHe doesn't need to retire but ESPN does need to stop making it the subject of 2 full days of coverage every time he has half a decent round. "Is Tiger back? Will he get back? Should he get back? Can he get back?"

Name one player on the PGA tour that has ever come remotely close to the number of transgressions that Tiger has. Sleeping with hookers on a regular basis. Sleeping with his neighbor's 21-year old daughter. Making a complete mockery of marriage. Driving under the influence of drugs. He makes John Dailey look like a choir boy. He deserves all the **** that comes his way.
I'm not sure he ever put up Tiger-like numbers, but enough wives kicked Hal Sutton out the the house that he was known on tour as Halimony.Name one player on the PGA tour that has ever come remotely close to the number of transgressions that Tiger has.
John Dailey is no choir boy - he speed played a PGA round so he could get to drinking beer faster - THAT is disrespecting the game he you get paid and fans that pay to watch you to play - WORSE than anything Tiger did (unless he murdered someone we don't know about). F JD.
While that is bad, I'm going to go ahead and completely disagree with you that what Daily did was in the same stratosphere as constantly sleeping with hookers, when Tiger had a wife and kids.
Or maybe no one knows the extent of the other players shady doings because...well frankly because no one gives a rats *** about anyone not named Tiger. Secondly, does your standard only apply to golfers or all pro athletes? Because no one ever seems to care about what any athlete not named Tiger does in their free time...
Not defending what he did, but he seems to be the only one of hundreds (thousands?) of athletes do that get the moral police on their case. I don’t care what these guys do in their free time, and maybe you shouldn’t either. It’s none of your business
I can make it my business if I want. Got it? I don't like Trump either, because he is guilty of sexual assault, not to mention that he is an A-Hole of epic proportions, so this isn't just a Tiger Woods thing. Any person that conducts himself like Tiger or our POTUS does deserves to be scrutinized.

What court convicted Trump of sexual assault? Not defending his behavior or Bill's while in the White House or JFK or others. I don't condone "affairs" and never considered one in 44 years of marriage. If they do something with another consenting adult, that is not sexual assault unless you are part if the metoo gang after the fact.
Have you ever reas the stories about pro players who had loads of chicks waiting for them when they arrive in cities? Or rock stars before and after concerts are legendary. Let be clear, it is all wrong, no matter who, but being selective doesn't make one more right than another.

Dustin Johnson banged other PGA Tour pros wives and did a bunch of blow. I think he failed like 2 drug tests a few years ago for cocaine and one for marijuana. I still root for him.
I've never rooted for Tiger until this weekend. I don't know why I did, it must just be the underdog. I like an underdog and Tiger was that this weekend. I'm still not a fan of his.
Rickie Fowler is who I root for on day 1. If he isn't in the field at the end then i gotta choose, and I usually pick an american who is contention on the last day.
Stand on that soap box...just don’t forget Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Rick Pitino, Frank Solich, A-Rod, Sean Payton, Charles Barkley, Bill Belichek, Wilt Chamberlain, Shaq, JFK, MLK Jr., Bill Clinton...that’s a decent start. Be sure to take them down on any thread they are brought up in. Fact of the matter is that there is a cheating culture amongst pro athletes and is well known that over 50% of pro athletes cheat on their wives. People that take down Tiger almost never care about anyone else and it’s hypocritical.
Trump in his position has a lot of enemies and he's in a position where anybody can and do makeup whatever they want against him because of their political beliefs. 20 women claiming that he touched them or looked at them the wrong way isn't a lot when you take into account how much he's hated by some people.Truhusker, for some reason the system wouldn't allow me to quote your post, but when 21 women come out of the woodwork claiming sexual assault against Trump, there has to be something there. That's beyond hearsay. The guy is a creep, and confirms it on a regular basis.
I applaud you on 44 years of staying true to your wife. That is commendable and the way things should be. No doubt your strong faith is a part of that. Congratulations on making a great marriage!

In each of the allegations against Trump, each of the women were specific about what happened. Sure, some of them may be making up the incidents, but I have a hard time believing that this many women would come out with allegations.
