Southlake Carroll High (Kris & Drew Brown's high school), one of the top programs in Texas, is buying out their head coach's contract for $165,000 according to news media. Allegations that he was sneaking in unauthorized practices etc. Gotta win, gotta win.

Is that why they have been so dominant for so long? Why can't coaches just play by the rules?

I live in the area— reality is they wanted him gone, Southlake hasn’t been the same since Dodge left and they expect to be dominant.... sound familiar Husker fans? Allen is the dominant program nowadays in big school DFW...

Is MILFS really the plural of MILF? I think it's still just MILF myself. Unless the "S" stands for sideways...

(trying to take the board grammar nazi thing to a whole new level)

Seems like the bigger the Dfw gets the closer you are to middle of the metroplex you lose talent.

I remember when the mid cities schools like Trinity and LD Bell used to be dominant programs.

However Highland Park who is smack dab in the middle of Dallas seems to dominate year after year. Of course they have the big bucks to hire high priced coaches...

Spot on....look at Aledo (I really like Colt Ellison-DE, wish Huskers would pursue, dude has motor like Wistrom), Argyle, Boswell to name a few....
