Reports are no first round pick is in the package? Rams don’t have any second rounders? I am ok with it because I don’t think the chiefs could sign him long term but he’s worth more than a third round pick or two.

Just another example of a NFL team ignoring conventional wisdom and drafting a college kid with serious baggage and living to regret it. Now they are trading him for 1/2 his value. Seems like it never works out when a team drafts a cancer like that. Even if they do actually start for you and make plays (like the Chiefs with Peters or Baldwin and others before him), teams get tired of the B.S. and don't resign them anyway.

First round pick who played in the pro bowl 2 of his first 3 years and creates more turnovers than anyone in the league (excepting Bronco QBs that is!)...better be a helluva a lot coming back to the Chiefs. Trading exceptional players on club friendly contracts is not how you win in the NFL...
