Lets not stop with God...... Allah, Buddha, Atheists, Aliens, Zombies....... You can keep going if you want to. The hashtag #FUGLY seems appropriate!

It all begins and ends with God although I doubt He hates Nebraska.

On Zombies though its really interesting to read up on what happens during decomposition. Zombies could never happen.

Nebraska basketball might be more in the realm of zombies.

We should keep Miles. Not the greatest game coach but he has upgraded talent. Best talent we have had here since Nee. This is Nebraska... the worst D1 power 5 basketball program of all time. Miles is on track, still, to finish with over 20 wins and possibly finish in the upper tier of the B1G standings. Pretty good for this ******** program. And why not wait to see how we do in the conference tournament before we throw Miles out the door? Finally, if we fire Miles who in the hell, realistically, would we get? Doc Sadler's cousin? No big name coach is coming here and a good young coach would be a fool to come here if they had choices... which they do.

Miles should stay.

Never been much of a hoops guy so I don’t have the expectations of an NCAA Tournament like most of you do. I see we win here and there but then shoot ourselves in the foot against the big bad Illini.

I guess I don’t get too excited because I’ve realized if we ever make the Big Dance we will be 14 seed and get our *** kicked by Saint Mary’s in the first round. Without a quality big man few teams go very far.

Oh well, on to next year.

Did you watch the game? This one sucks BUT I'm not too worried about that loss. It happens. Everything under the sun went right for Illinois. One handed falling away runner 3s thrown up off of one foot were going in at the shot clock buzzer. Closely guarded buzzer beater 3 bounced on the rim, backboard rim, backboard then rolled around and fell in. It happens. Officials don't reverse one bad out of bounds call on one trip very late in the game that goes against NU then the next time reverse one which shouldn't have been. Both calls go against NU. Home cookin and we couldn't make enough shots to overcome it. That's basketball when you don't have a 7 deep of superior talent. One guy has to sit after a horrible 4th foul call (Roby) and you're screwed.

I watched the game. The refs sure were not against us, if that's what you are trying to allude to. IF anything I think they were more than fair for us.
We are better than Illinois, or should be, even when they have a good night.

Actually all it takes is the right person just ask Dave VanHorne. NU baseball was at times competitive but never got over the hump until Dave was hired, need to be able to find diamonds in the rough and have really good assistant coaches. There's someone out there just have to be able to find them which isn't easy. Does anyone think ksucks hired the right guy when they hired Snyder the first time? I venture to say most people felt bill would fail just like the other former coaches of ksucks

Yes. We need to get lucky on our next hire.

They absolutely made some terrible calls in the 2nd half that affected the outcome of the game. I've already listed them earlier. That said, we took some poor shots late and didn't play good enough defense. Nobody to blame but ourselves. We shouldn't have let it come down to the officials.
