Hey, you know, I was wondering: Is it that Tim Miles is a good coach and finally has the players he needs, or is it that the Big Ten is having a SUPER down year? Or a combination of both?

Likely a combination of both, but really a shame that the Huskers couldn't have gotten the top 3 teams to play in Lincoln this year. It's an unfair evaluation because on one hand, the only teams in conference that seem worthy were all losses, but they were also road games which nearly everyone lost when playing on their floors.

I have noticed a lot less screaming about how bad of a coach he is. Oddly, it wasn't replaced my positive comments, just quiet.

I would have to say that this is the first year in a LOOOOOOOOONG time, maybe ever, that we look like we are superior physically and athletically to most of the teams we are playing. We still aren't better than the very top teams in the conference, but other than the elites, we look more athletic. So Tim does deserve a lot of credit for bringing those guys on campus and getting them to mesh as a team. If Palmer does come out, we obviously lose a big part of the team, but hopefully some of the redshirt and incoming guys can pick up the slack.

Not only that, it feels like we finally have unity in vision and purpose between the head coach, AD, and university administration. We were disjointed as hell in that regard, one way or another, for the past two decades.

At present all we lack is a real presence in the post. if Jordy had hands instead of boards, Palmer, Copeland and Watson would have a easier time getting their shots. Picture Purdue’s post in the middle for us.

We are good and finally Miles has players in his system that he recruited. The players he had back in 2014 when we went to the dance we mostly all of Sadler's recruits and if they make it to the dance this year, I believe they will win at least one game in the tourney. These guys are gelling at the right time. I'm calling it here, it will be Nebraska and MSU in the BIG Championship game.

This team has a chance to finish with 25 wins, get a 6, or 7th seed and get to the sweet 16. This is a for real team, with 3 NBA draft picks

He is an average coach with a talented team. I hope he can keep bringing going guys like Palmer, Roby and Copeland.

I'm not a Miles fan but he's earned a couple more years at the helm with this season's performance

Miles definitely deserves credit this year. NU hoops is actually fun to watch these days. They do have a legit shot at the NCAA tournament. Regardless, he should definitely get another year.

My question is whether he has built something sustainable? Like 2014, he’s riding a couple of transfers that are dynamic players. Has any player Miles recruited been with the program for 4 years? There was Shavon Shields, but i believe he committed to Doc Sadler.
