Ross Els was the best assistant coach and recruiting coordinator any program ever had. When he moved on, our program died.
He became the DC at Purdue! Then he became the ILB coach at Colorado. Can't wait for Frost to pound that team this fall.
Hank Hughes is amazing. Davidson hired Hank Hughes as Defensive Run Game Coordinator and Linebackers Coach. Look out Pioneer Football League! Here he comes!
We should miss Danny Langsdorf. That guy helped Eli Manning have a great year and when he left, Manning sucked again! We were so lucky to have that guy! #Blessed
I think we set some sort of record for most DB coaches in a decade. Must have been some stellar coaches in those groups. Strength in numbers! Eventually one will produce here and stay!
Phil Elmassian had 7 one-year stints from 2000-2014 and 2 two-year stints and ended up at Ferrum of all colleges! Freakin Ferrum! How many coaches can say they went back to coach at a school they coached at over 30 years ago!? What do you mean you have never heard of Ferrum?!?
Pederson and Eichorst were A+ rated ADs! I still don't understand how we never won multiple national championships with them in charge! How the #%@& does Eichorst not have a Wiki page all to himself? At least he is on everipedia.org and someone wrote this about him: He is known to have a great sense for building athletics in colleges having also formerly worked for the Miami Hurricanes!
The list goes on and on and on! Truly staggering is right!
