in the MMQB- Jerry Jones watching Lee “let’s see what this turnover machine has next”- next throw was a pick six

Ugh... hate that Jones thinks he’s an expert and hate that this is in a hugely popular article...

Well how the tweet went was this. Tanner Lee was coming in for his repetition during practice and Jones made the statement......"lets see what the turnover machine does now". Immediately Tanner threw a pick-6. Jones was standing there with an unlit cigar in his mouth and said "I still got it" whereas everyone started laughing. The person who tweeted it said it was the funniest moment of practice.

May not be nice, but fairly accurate. I wish Lee the best and hope he gets a shot, but no need to be delusional about his issues throwing the ball.

Jerry Jones doesn't have the emotional attachment to Lee that we do.

Hopefully he gets a shot and does really well.

if you watched the Senior bowl, lee was a turnover machine and very inaccurate to boot.

Good to see the broken clock was right at least once. JJ hasn't had a relevant team on the field since???? Glad he got it right, Lee is a backup at best in the league.

Just funny JJ is seen as a great mind of on the field evaluations.

You are right - however I got a better feel for why watching what I could this week. He has bad mechanics - especially setting his feet and body to make the throw (his arm mechanics don't appear to be the root of the issue). He makes accurate throws when he uses proper mechanics (no pass rush). Also - the time to get the ball out when he decides to throw is slow - so both decision making and release need to improve. I think alot of that could be fixed and it also explains why in 7 on 7 drills he is a beast. Big arm and without the rush messing up his feet/body location - he gets the ball where it needs to go. He has the toughness to stand there and get hit - which is more than alot of QBs have. So if someone is willing to work with him on how to get his feet and body right when the rush is all over him - he might make it as a NFL QB. His lack of mobility ain't fixable.....that might limit his opportunities.

I'm a Steelers fan and love seeing the cowboys in pain, but sad to see a team with tradition being in the state they are in on the field. Won't get to a conference title game in the next 5 years easy.

Jerry Jones hasn't won **** since Jimmy Johnson left. (Switzer had all of Jimmy's guys) That being said his analysis of Tanner Lee is accurate.

I'm sure it elicited a laugh from all the sycophants hanging around JJ, but he called him a "turnover machine" and then said "let's see what happens next." Not exactly a hot take there, Nostradamus.

I believe Tanner Lee has an NFL arm and will probably have an opportunity for some team willing to take the risk.

I don't care one way or another if Lee makes a roster but I would gladly take a mule kick to the groin if doing so would guarantee that Tanner Lee throws a late TD pass to beat the Cowboys by one point in the NFC championship game....... preferably at AT & T Stadium with Jones watching on the sidelines.
