Its nicer than Columbus and Grand Island but that's nothing to brag about. Lol
None of the towns are bad. They are what they are size wise. I guess I would say for the size, Grand Island is behind. It’s hard to compare a 23,000 person town to a town like Lincoln. Or a 1,500 person town to Norfolk.

I live in Norfolk. I enjoy it I don't need a whole lot I hate traffic... Outside of 8am Norfolk is good on that. Plenty of recreation within 1hr drive. Skyview lake has an insane bass population right now. In one evening I can catch 15 that are 20inches or more in length. Willow Creek is closer than Lewis and Clark if you want to take a boat out. Divots has a good amount of entertainment and their brewery has gotten much better.

3 18hole golf courses and several small town 9 hole courses that are not bad within 20miles.

I tend to go to black cow for meals and a drink as I like the environment and it's not a chain.

Finally starting to get a City trail system put together for bikes and runners alike.

Housing has gone up but it is still affordable

Cabelone provides 100mpbs internet so that's nice.

It's good for a family, leaves quite a bit to desire for a singles, but that goes for most all small towns in Nebraska.

Decent medical community. Not a terrible drive to Sioux City or Omaha. Reasonably good schools I think. I think housing is reasonably inexpensive. It seems to have it's fair share of drugs and crime considering it's size but I wouldn't mind living there. It's an easy drive to Lewis and Clark Lake State Recreation area. Large HIspanic population so it would be a good place to practice your Spanish. Overall not a bad town IMO. I've never lived there but travel through there a bunch and have family that has lived there.

I grew about an 45 min north of there. Now it has been 15 years since I have been there so it could have changed. When I was growing up it was know as a big drug town. Generally lower income area. With lower income usually comes more crimes/ drugs. I personally wouldn't live there just based on what I knew growing up

Hence the Pville name. Laughing By the way......how is the golf game?

Slowly deteriorating with age... Plenty of good days, but more and more days where I just can't seem to get it together like I used to. Can't beat my 2nd oldest son anymore (rarely, I guess), but at least am able to still beat my 8th grader.

Yea I feel your pain. Mine dropped off bad 10 years ago but has been coming back in the last year or so. Our Norfolk group is headed to Vegas for our annual trip here in a couple of weeks. Dick S always goes.
